I believe that the best place to advertise crypto currencies is where people already knows crypto well and has it at hand. It seems to me that bitcointalk forum is very well suited to that role)))
I think youtube is the best place to advertise cryptocurrencies, especially if you use some famous crypto channels that have a lot of subscribers then that will be the best advertisement because the one who will watch the channel are crypto enthusiasts that are searching for another potential coin to invest.
I am not the best advertiser but according to my experience, I would say that the best platforms to make commercials for crypto are: Bitcointalk, youtube, and telegram.
Yotube, twitter, facebook are really great social media platforms to increase the recognition of crypto projects, but nowadays there are problems like regulation and restriction. As these social media platforms are part of the financial system, I'm anticipating that they will gradually take sides against the blockchain, which we can see from latest developments. The time has come for the crypto world to uncover the crypto social media and move its media there.

I think you should set up forums to talk about cryptocurrency. This is a pretty effective way to advertise. To advertise to many people I think that on youtube and facebook are the most known, Facebook is currently the most popular social network, and so the ads on it will undoubtedly have. You could post your cryptocurrency here on bitcointalk and other forums like altcointalks. You could also publish blogs about your crypto and post video on youtube. You could also hire social media influencers who have great influence on social media about cryptocurrency, they could hype your crypto and start a word of mouth like what happens on ETN. You can also do contests or giveaways. Try also to get listed on ICO websites and get a high rating it will help a lot.
After joining many social media network, i think Bitcointalk forums still is the best place for advertise, where every one can discuss about crypto currencies, with many experiences member, they can evaluate a project, which Twitter and Facebook, or other i can't see
Social media platforms are the best places to advertise cryptocurrency as there will be a broad audience coverage. its however unfortunate that some platforms ban it, though Twitter has not made such a move yet.
TV ADS is the best way to sell products or service but social media nowadays is the place to advertise any product under the sun you do not have to pay anything as long as you have an account in it. and social media (e.g. facebook, twitter, youtube etc.) is the great way to let people know and encourage them to join crypto.

Youtube, Twitter, and Facebook are all good media in terms of cryptocurrency advertisements. However, it is also true that many viewers of these ads are not in any way giving important attention to them. They are more focused in what they are doing there, which is definitely not looking for a good crypto to invest in. And so I think you better extend your advertisement to some sites that are primarily focusing or catering cryptocurrency-related discussion or updates. You may try the likes of coinmarketcap or the popular crypto magazines and online news.
I think and hope best place for advertise cryptocurrencies is this forum. Because all user who is here are interested in it. And everything you will bring , they will listen , but now you need to be very picky with investments. Hard days come.
I think, although some social media have banned crypto advertising on ico sales. It does not matter. because after all, now crypto has become very famous all over the world. only, there is a lot of sloping news that is growing in the community.
Bitcointalk is a best social site to promote crypto, so far. Other than this Facebook is good option too, i don't think YouTube and Twitter has that much effect. You can also look up at reddit.
