Been using blockchain, happy with options, and have never had an issue of any kind.

Use multiple  online wallets for frequent transactions. Never keep all your coins in one basket. Use paper wallets for long term coin storage.

Hi I am new to bitcoin and would like to now which wallet works best and why.  I see there are several: Blockchain, Coinbase, Bitcoin Wallet etc... Also is cold storage the best method of storing bitcoins?

I use a regular wallet.

Im also new to BTC but after reading and reading /

I decided to go with Block Chain they look legit.
They have pretty good security measures in place. < Even thought some user claim that they got jacked. But most likely it was their fault, being that BlockChain give you the option to download all Private Key in a single hash file.

Multibit is my favorite. I started using blockchain, but then I heard all these horror stories of people getting hacked so I decided to go local.

well, there are even more horror stories from people eating trojans and losing their wallet. I'd say the chances are higher than to lose your online wallet.

If you own a large amount of btc I'd use a cold storage though

i like blockchain, it is the most secure. Even more if you enable TFA in which it sends a code to your email in order to log in.

Great! Thanks guys.  I just noticed the alert to update Android wallets... Scary!!! I think i will go the route of cold storage and leaving just enough BTC on my android wallet that I will spend.

I use Armory and Multibit. It would only be Armory if it would run on my Mac.

If you use online wallet, be sure to use two factor authentication as well

Beta Launch - First game available for play.
I'm pretty partial to using local wallets, mainly because they dont take an exorbitant unjustifiable amount for transactions such as many of the online wallet services.....
