Trading does really needed a lot of time and patience just to see the good results when you do it. And gambling we only think about its quick way of making money. But when we talk about quitting, I'm not going to quit gambling and start trading. Why I have to quit gambling just for a start of another hobby if I can do both of it?

Best way to quit gambling and Start trading? There is no best way on doing it. The only way for you to achieve to quit on gambling is your decision and your commitment on it. It only takes ONE brave decision to stop gambling but that one brave decision is hard to do. but if you really wanted to quit, you will commit on quitting gambling by DECIDING ON STOPPING.

People come to both gambling and trading in search for easy money, but just as the odds are stacked against players in casino, the odds are also stacked against newbie traders on the markets. On wild unregulated crypto markets you will be playing a zero-sum game against people with more experience, more money, more influence and access to insider information. This can be much worse than a 1% house edge of a casino. And it's not very hard to profit from trading if you go for long-term positions, but it won't profitable enough to live off it. But when it comes to frequent trading than it becomes much more harder as the price is always so unpredictable in short term.

I guess to quit gambling you have to have good self discipline. We see everyday gamblers try to quit gambling, this is similar to smokers trying to quit smoking as well, but the problem is that they can't quit it that easily. Most of the time, they quit for just a few days or months only to get back at it. I think change should really start from the inside and not just stop. Best is to discipline yourself and stop the habit.

Once you're clean from gambling, start investing. And always think to yourself, "I do not have money to waste in gambling."

12 steps groups are the the best option/way to quit gambling in a sane manner. While gambling is a disase you must known you suffer the disase from the first step and from there is a long way, I used to gamble a lot when younger, I love to play poker and sometimes is just bad to lose money while playing, s o I set up my own limits. About trading you must first know what you doing, like gambling, you must know that your gambing and you can lose everything gambled.

Well, for once, in gambling the odds are against you.
In trading there is no house to eat up your profit (well, there are scammers, though there are the same in gambling) and you can actually master the skill of investing in crypto with enough time, while playing dice or slots etc. there is no skill element that will give you an edge over others

If you want it, you just need to do it
Tell yourself, in trading there is skill and there is no house edge
And just do it.

Trading is a gambling with a plan and doesn’t depend on any luck. I will not quit on gambling because it gives me so much pleasure, but I am also a trader for different markets so for me it’s about life balancing and decipline to yourself which drives you for your success.

This is actually a real situation on most gambler which they are already aware that trading is really much better to earn money specially on longer runs but the thing that blocks them or having doubts is that the results are too long which they would find it boring specially to those people who do love to see instant or fast profits which they can find it on gambling this is why they end up on playing gambling in the end. Stopping and quitting? It would be impossible as long that gambler wont really have the eagerness to quit and switch into trading.

it is difficult, i used to gamble a lot a few months ago, but thanks to god, i dont feel attracted to gamble anymore, i mean, i used to spend all the money that i had a few months ago, i did it wrong because i lost a lot of money because of those mistakes.
But i know that the only ones who made profit were the owners of the casino, not me, i only lost a lot of money because of that.
So try to stay away from gambling, i just started to look at the charts and then i realized that i could made a lot of money from trading, and this is how i quit gambling.

Well at the moment both things are quite the same right now, altcoin market is a little bit unpredictable right now, and it can be "tagged" as a gamble because the high volatility of the markets.
But of course that the best way to stay away from gambling is just to mentalize about your losses and think about how much money you can earn from altcoin trading, only if you know how to do it, of course.

Lol, it's pretty easy to double your money with gambling, just do a 50% chance dice bet and you'll double your money almost 1 out of 2 times :p
People wouldn't be gambling if it were that hard and long term you would very likely lose.

Really? Mind you that after pumping there is dumping and your investment might be worth less or even close to nothing after some months. I prefer to have 2x my stake after 1 hour than wait months for UNKNOWN result. So yeah there is that.
And by the way buying shitcoins in the hope of getting rich is not trading in the slightest. It's called shooting in the dark aka gambling and it's similar to buying a lottery ticket. It might end up costing a lot or nothing at all.

I have quite gambling after lossing so much but in starting days I have also lost so much in trading too. Although I think trading is way more safer than just gambling, you can make profit with your skills in trading while your profit in gambling completely depends on your luck.

Trading isn't a safe way to earn for sure. It is similar to gambling... well maybe a little bit better, but it still won't depend on you if you will earn or not, as you can't control how price will change. It is better than gambling anyway, but it's still risky.

I don't have reason to stop gambling to start trading, as i do both. I don't gamble much, i don't trade a lot either now.

The only good thing with trading is that you'll have a lesser chance of losing everything but the amount of profit you could get from both gambling and trading is the same imo huge amount risked huge reward .
