I think trading has a way bigger gambling element than traditional gambling mate
Plus you could double your money within minutes unlike trading where you need to be glued to your monitor watching all the graphs and news and shit. Too much work for too little gain.
I strongly disagree with this, because this is not true at all, you could not double your money in gambling, it is easy to say but so hard to be done. I could assure myself that I could get something in return in Trading even it takes months, at least it is worth the wait, unlike in gambling that you would only win in the first try, to the second, but after that, you are just going to lose all of your money and will be addicted to this.
I totally agree with this since trading and gambling are completely different things even tho they share the risk factor , but the risk of trading isn't even nearly as equivalent as the risk that you run whenever you gamble .
Whenever you gamble you don't really know whether you'll win or not and there is a binary output of your money which is either a win or a loss so you either get your money back plus some profit or you don't get anything at all and if you got a bad luck you're gonna eventually loose all your funds .
Whether in trading you can cut off your losses at any moment and there are very few cases in which you'll completely loose your money and won't be able to retrieve even a small part of it . So with a little knowledge acquirement and some time to invest in this field , it could turn to a very profitable activity which runs on a much lower amount of risk , which can be manageable in all cases by the way .
