Actually I like this forum the most.
There is a thread for your interest: Crypto Currency News Sites (Updated). I simply want to pinpoint a small thing here. The more news you read, the higher chance you will lose your mind and your own opinion. So, I recommend to read as little news as possible; and you should choose a very few sites to read. Overwhelming sites and news are not good for you at all.

I agree with you, it's very confusing for someone new to learn about Bitcoin. Even i myself was really confused. But I kept on my research from websites to websites and gathered knowledge on it, so there's not really a specific favourite website of mine, but Reddit can be really useful for the beginners, you can ask questions based on your confusions and you get multiple answers to get you to a conclusion.
I think Bitcoin forum is the best to learn and gain knowledge about BTC based on this many newbie’s learn from here and solved their problems also many new topics is being discussed here which is really helpful for investors.

Lots of advise can be found here. I am regularly reading Wall Street Journal, that combines financial news and blockchain, also some great blogs by: Paul Vigna, Gavin Andersen and Nick Szabo, also fintechstreet. I think it is preferable to consume basic knowledge in finance, daily news to see the trends, and have an overview of the opinions of the market leaders.
I think deepdotweb is the best website for bitcoin news. It is a popular website and i also get bitcoins update from twitter and facebook also.
I prefer btcnews or bitcoin.io or forklog
bitcointalk, reddit, twitter etc are some famous site for crypto related news. Reddit has lost its charm lately due to less engagement in posts, but the other two will never disappoint you.
For the tokens I am following, the sole official news channel is their Telegram channel so I can read the related news as soon as they are published.
Reddit use to be a very potential source, along with a few telegram channels.
Actually I follow the Bitcoin forum because its trusted and useful because many knowledgeable people are here to suggest us about crypto currency also bitcoin based on this in website there are many of them it is up to you which one you proffered.
Initially, I was following some blogs about the crypto industry but after some time, I have decided to follow some reputed sources to reduce the clutter. Today, I am following Coindesk, Forbes Crypto and news.bitcoin.com to stay updated with the cryptocurrency news. However, I usually spend my most of the time in reading the opinion of experienced senior members of bitcointalk.

I read articles posted on the forum and read comments.
For news there are so many digital / physical papers. From where you can get latest news about bitcoin world.
But it you want knowledge about bitcoin forum; you just read the posts of several senior members here at the forum. I most read their views and try to engage myself in the discussion.
By trying to engage myself in the discussion ; may be it is possible that I may not be posting 100% to the point issue. but still I try to write something. It may be 70-80 or 90 % relevant and may be rest of the portion irreverent. But I get support from seniors. They on several occasions correct me if I am not right in some statement. It adds to my knowledge.

The forums provide everything and there are still many discussions that can be said to be just as spammer and unclear as to the truth of every news submitted, but still have many uses for knowledge, news, then dig deeper into the most popular webs like CCN and social media that every day update the latest information, you will be very easy to determine and get the right information.

I think this forum will very very helpful for all the people to get latest update in any other cryptocurrencies are about any other online currencies so my choice is this forum will be very very helpful for all thoughts about me.
