According to what i have read, war and violence may be some of the primary causes of poverty. Political violence and organized crime have affected 39 countries since 2000, in those countries the poverty level is twice that of non-violent countries. These two items, poverty and violence may also feed themselves. Will you explain what common reason why some other country is still experiencing poverty and some person dying because of hunger because of efficiency on food?
It is the government who manipulates poverty. If a politicians wants everyone to be educated and rich or let's just say in the middle class, what will happen to these corrupt politicians? My point is that no one will vote for them no more that is why they will not push education and the poor will remain poor.

the cause of poverty is population brought by early marriage and free marital sex. you can see in many street number of children, teenager carrying baby or child in an early age.
despite that thier family are less fortunate. they choose to have a family in an early age than to study and had a better future someday. this senario are rampant and continuously observed in our society. it is a problem and would still become a problem and a cause of poverty of our nation.
I view it as a situational thing and the common cause is the poor environment or situation in which you are brought up. Generally those places you won't have access to good education, clean water, shelter, food, and adequate clothing. All these things combined make it quite hard to get out of that cycle, and of all those things I just mentioned education seems the most important to me.
in my opinion one of the most causes or maybe the most common cause for poverty is overpopulation.................. and the poor have been having dozens of children and refusing to practise family planning since time immemorial................ and the worst part is that they believe that it is the duty of the rich people to feed them and their dozens of children..........in my country the society and the government are supporting that attitude.....
Number one is ignorance to understand the thing that can offer a helpful information that can leads to a better future, like for example by ignoring correction. Second is corruption, this I's the world problem resides in the government that suppose to be it is the shelter of growth but a shelter where the biggest crime is hiding.
I think the common cause of poverty due to economic factors is very unstable and the few start-ups and the new population are overwhelming in the employment appeals that are getting fewer as the population grows and more.
Major cause i think is lack of education. Because education is one which has enabled many people to overcome poverty. Hence you can see almost all the nations in the world spend a lot on education.

The main cause of poverty and hunger of a country is lack of education and specially Government corruption, because of corruption a country became down and crime spreads out around the country this will result to poverty and hunger of a country.

I will go for corruption and lack of education. Actually all of what you said is the effect of poverty. If we are poor we will be able not to send our children to school. There would be a crime because of lack of education and there is no company that will accept someone that have not finished their studies. Greediness and laziness caused poverty.
Based on my knowledge, the main reason or cause of poverty in one country is that it is over-populated and the people who are sitting in the government is corrupt. One of the cause is education, their country maybe can't afford to give a child a proper education so they lack in knowledge which can lead to poverty because they don't know how to make and don't know how the system works.
Upbringing and education are really the only things that matter. most people just dont know how to make money - they are not educated and dont know the system (I wish everyone did). educated people tend to understand the system and use it to their advantage. money does not determine success but successful people tend to have money. It's just how it is. you need to spend some time in school to put all the pieces of the puzzle together and understand where you could fit in.

In our country, the common causes of poverty is lack of control in local foods, corruption and lack of access to education. some people specially in the lower class, have an creases in foods because on corruptions. In Education, Education is one which has enabled many people to overcome pov5 causes of povertyerty. Hence you can see almost all the nations in the world spend a lot on education. They provide even scholarships to those from economically backward families.
