2 reasons I think and that are lack of focusing on the special of their own country and secondly is corruption.
Mainly over population is the cause of poverty. For the lack of education people are suffering in poverty. Illiterate people have no knowledge about family planning for that population is growing more than earning which is causing poverty.
I think that poverty has no reason...it's a kind of energy and attitude to life...it's like saying about the cause of black or white hair...they just exist
What I see that the common reason of poverty is the person's mindset. Regardless who you are, where you are. We all have the opportunity to get out of poverty. It maybe not becoming that rich, but we have always to provision to live happily.
Uneducated people are in general not concerned about their future. They are only concerned about their day-to-day survival. They never save money for their future needs and when the need comes, they are forced to lend the money from exploitative people. It is the fault of the government as well. The government must educate these people on how to save money.
I think the common cause of poverty is the government employees itself.some government employees are corrupt.when they think they can lessen the budget of a project, they will just do it. And put the money on their pockets.
I think the reason why most people experience about poverty cause of dependent on parents, government support and based of no. Of local works that is fit for them. Then they are choosing words in Tagalog "bahala na", and never trying again if got failure in first attempts.

I think I will go to corruption but since it is done by the government that governs the country, I will go with the government. Not all government are that clean and will be a good service to the people of that certain country. There are a lot of people with power that takes advantage of it for the sake of their riches and fame. It is really disappointing but that is the fact and there are really a lot of them, well greed is not that easy to detect and take away to people.

One of the reasons why our country is experiencing poverty is because of corrupt government, lack of employment, so others do not work because they are uneducated and others have no money to buy a food. It's easy we are amassing money and resources. And not giving it to others. In our society a cycle must be created of giving, if we do so poverty will be eradicated.
Laziness will go to first place. Most people are lazy and the result will be poverty
Consumerism while the govt allowing minimum wage are the main culprits of a poor country. The govt is ultimately responsible in making the change, but is not necessarily at fault.
In my opinion the common cause of poverty is the laziness of some persons who always wanted to depends on others who can gave and basically dependent on the president of the country which is the only task of our president is to governance us and teachings us the laws on our place.And its depends also in the currency of our country if they can afford the needs and wants of our self needs.The other reason also is lack if education because there are some people who cannot afford and thats so happens they did not know the skills that we need them to study.
For me, the common cause of poverty is lack of education. Some people have the skills, but do not have the proper education on how to use those skills. There are many people who have full of potentials but few of them were given a chance because some of them did not graduated in college or high school. If all people will be given an equal opportunity, I think all of us will not experience poverty.
The number one factor I know is the lack of education because one can not look for a job when he is not a degree holder and the other is due to the corruption of government officials because the money that should be used in building the country puts it directly in his pocket.

The gheographical location, the greed of their leaders, how united they are, their past ( see the Africa's countries).
I think that laziness is the main problem of human poverty. There are many examples where people even from the poorest countries were able to achieve great heights thanks to hard work.
Poverty is everywhere. But we avoid poverty if all of us will go work, used contraceptives to prevent more childrens. Just think the future, think your kids.
Not trying and not wanting to try is the biggest cause of poverty. People find thousands of excuses why they cannot do something but never even try to find one why they can.

International sanction can be a major reason, but it is widely ignored by everyone. It's effect was very visible in Iraq, where children were starving from the lack of milk and food after the UN imposed sanctions during the 1990s (after the Iraqis invaded Kuwait). Before the sanctions, Iraq was one of the richest nations in the middle east region.
I believe its lack of literacy, corruption, and human culture. These in one way or another has contributed to cause poverty in every nation.
