The future of bitcoin will be bright even without the Nigerian government's involvement. I don't even want the government to get involved because doing so will only make investing in bitcoin less enjoyable. Even if they make it legal tender, only a small number of people—big businesses and even hotels—will still accept it as payment. It will also be beneficial globally because, if you travel to another country, you won't even have to start looking for where to find the exact currency you can just end up spending bitcoin for things that have been made simple.
Many people have been empowered by bitcoin, and even when they were unable to find employment, they were seriously depending on it for their livelihood. There is a lot more money in bitcoin than even in some jobs, and what bitcoin will give you as a serious investor will be very different from what jobs will give you. For this reason, people are concentrating more on investing in Nigeria, where many people are interested but may lack the funds, and the government that is meant to support them is unconcerned.
