as far as I know eth is a pretty promising coin, and until now the development of eth is higher than other coins. so I thought that eth's future would improve again, so we need to wait for everything with full patience. because I'm sure the market won't break easily.
if I think the future of Ethereum is
1. Ethereum will be legal in all countries
2. the price will increase very high
3. Ethereum will be used for transactions (payments)

ethereum is a strong coin in the market, with its popularity ethereum is sure to be able to face all the challenges that occur in the market, with a large community that will make ethereum grow, with support from investors and holders it will make Etherher have a good future
although there are many arguments about the future of ethereum, and many people are hesitant to invest after ethereum has experienced a drastic decline last year, but ethereum will definitely rise and have the possibility to exceed its highest price point

I have no doubt that Altcoin ethereum is one of everyone's favorite altcoins, they think because they have benefited from this altcoin and me too. So I think all altcoins including ethereum have a bright future if altcoin is widely adopted and the team is serious about developing it too.
Price wise, the dearth of ICOs may have had a great impact on it's price because during the ICO boom it reached its ath as it was the most accepted means of payment. There will still be many use cases of Ethereum beyond ICO.
In my opinion the future of ethereum is very dependent on ERC-20 based tokens, as we know that the key to successful ethereum is the number of tokens that are active in the market, making ethereum use increase dramatically, if the tokens skyrocket it will have a big impact on ethereum and vice versa.
Many Ethereum-based tokens are growing now , I think the platform will be alive and will develop even more in the future , the more there was an explosion in 2017 and it will definitely be in the future!
Different people have various views on a single thing. In case of ethereum, I love the coin very much as am always a fan of the coin. Now its price is on the decline. Comparatively, its prices fell dramatically. But it does not mean the coin is just a shit. I think ethereum has a good technology and a good team. Still now most of the coins are based on the ethereum platform.
What is the future of the Ethereum? - A common question I see a lot in this forum when the price of ETH goes down. In my opinion, the price of ETH will go up if the demand is increasing in the next year. But if the demand not increases, I think it very hard to ETH to recover at triple digits of rate.
no one can know the future of any coin from digital currency and it has become a risk in investing with crypto currency and its development I think depends on the investor itself 
The future of the project ETH is a very promising and bright future. Vitaly Buterin is very actively working on the project in spite of the fact that ETH has released another hard fork, we still use it and its speed has really increased.
I am sure that there is some future in Ethereum. And I think that it will be bright, especially then when it will be updated, as it develops and grow.
Ethereum has its name already and next to bitcoin as the top coins in crypto world. I think one day it will grow more bigger and has a good future. I think it is also good for long term investment.
Like any other cryptocurrencies out there right now. It's still on it's early stage of development and in the coming years, will eventually erase all the problematic circumstances it faces today. Scalability and other aspects can be fully integrated due to the fact that the development of new technology will further enhance it.

Seems all things in development are fine, Ethereum dev community do its job very well
It seems to me that ethereum will soon be an independent coin and it will not lose second place after Bitcoin. There will be more and more new updates and it will get better and better.
I think future of ethereum is very bright because it comes 2nd in position after bitcoin from start. Everybody have full trust on it.It provides huge potential & gives more profit. Market of ethereum is very strong.

yes most users have different perceptions of each other, for me etherum is a worthy altcoin for investment, why? if I see the development of altcoin etehreum so far still good, there are still many companies that rely on this platform. the advantage that I get also from this altcoin, so in my opinion ethereum has a promising prospect.
I've read a lot of articles regarding this and all i can say is i really have a big faith with it even though i already have big losses. One reason is Ethereum 2.0 is coming soon and there are still so many exciting updates coming. Eth is good for a long term hold.
That's great for ETH and it's supporters.
ETH has been down due to bear but it never stop developing the project, the reason they reclaim the no. 2 spot is because we still support it.
The future is unknown but we can expect we will once again major improvement, not only on the project but the value as well.
