My brother gifted me a „bad mtherf*cker“ wallet for christmas. Shame on me - I didn‘t get the reference! So I watched Pulp Fiction (1994) - A crime film that tells several interconnected stories involving hit men, drug dealers, and other characters in the criminal underworld. Highly recommend this classic, if you don‘t know Tarentinos Masterpiece yet!

I recently caught the new movie 'The Invitation'. When I saw the trailer, I put it on my watch list and then it hit the top ten movies I was like I must see this movie. I really didn’t know what I was in for as the movie is labeled a horror thriller film; I think it is a romance horror film.

Later, I found out from a friend that the movie is inspired from Bram Stoker’s ‘Dracula’, which even made me just not like this movie at all. It could have been better, and the story was lacking the elements of a horror movie. This movie I certainly do not recommend anyone to see at all.

Watched Avatar 2 with my family last week! It’s not as good as I expected. The visuals were, of course, amazing. The storyline was dumb.

I recently caught  ‘Where the Crawdads Sing’, based on a book by Delia Owens. I always try not to expect too much when a movie is based on a book but this was a captivating must-see film!
It captures the story of a young woman living in the marshlands of North Carolina. I give props to a young woman like the main character, to survive growing up in the Marshland by herself. At a very young age, she develops her own survival skills from her alcoholic abusive father.
She saw the pain and horror and even watched her mother just walk away from the abuse. Alongside her siblings leaving her behind she felt sadness and learned to move on. I wondered where the mystery part would come n, mid-movie that will leave you wondering about death.
How certainly someone can be put to jail over racism?  This movie is worth two hours of your time.

The last movie I watched was Black Butterfly, starring Antonio Banderas. I have seen so many movies & I literally mean so many that I struggle to find ones of interest that I haven’t seen. I usually search by actor & scroll through their filmography, watch a trailer & then stick a movie on. I dunno why but Antonio Banderas came to mind so I found a movie with him. It was OK, a solid 6/10.

It was excellent, and I watched Gray Man. I enjoyed the acting in Deep Waters yesterday. I watched Don't Look Up today, and it's a sad but accurate summary of what's going on right now. Leo delivered an outstanding performance, as usual. Jonah is quite amusing, in fact, they all do a great job with their roles.

The last movie I watched was Home Alone 2. Everything about this movie is nostalgia, from the cast to the art directors, visuals itself. The Home Alone saga continue with the comedy and suspense.
This time the young boy, Kevin McCallister boy separated from his family left unaccompanied in New York City. Absolutely leaves the impossibilities ahead with Kevin. Reminiscence of the early 90’s and the warmth of the holidays season.
My favorite scene is when the pigeon lady and Kevin has a heart-to-heart. It is a reminder of what faith and hope is all about.

"The Trueman Show". It's a masterpiece played by Jim Carrey. And if there's Jim in a movie you know it's automatically good!

All Quiet On The Western Front - It's a masterpiece! Mirrors the true horror of World War 1 and what it was to be a soldier when the elite plays chess with human lives. Great cinematography, epic sound FX, superb acting and obviously the fact that it's based on the actual book itself. 110% Recommend.

Blazing Saddles.
Hilarious especially without the stupid 'PC'-edits. No way on God's little green Earth could that movie be made these days...  Roll Eyes

I just recently saw The Adam Project with Ryan Reynolds. I was more or less entertained. It’s a sci-fi movie and has some back to the future type time travel themes going on. It’s not the most original movie I’ve seen but it was put together in a good enough way to still recommend it.
I used to be kind of a Ryan Reynolds hater for some reason. He always just struck me as too good looking to be a believable actor. But these days I find him slightly more mildly entertaining.
I enjoyed the last one he was in too Free Guy, it was kind of good too. I think the Adam Project was more or less a successful film in that it remained entertaining throughout.
