I use only one exchange which is Binance. I leave all my assets here and I think it's safe enough. Also I use a few other exchanges depending on the bounty I participate in listed

I'm looking for crypto exchange, and it's challenging for me to pick one. I want to start with changelly because they have low fees, but they have just about 100 coins. what do you think about it?
I think the best one is anti-kyc deal, if they have no kyc then I would probably move to second thing.
I do not have just one thing I look at but multiple things, kyc is just the first one but super important, if I can't withdraw even 0.1 btc from you without KYC then I am not picking you.

Secondly, I would look at the coin options, there are few coins that I would like to hold and they are quite small and unknown ones, they are not really listed in many places and if you have them all then there is a big chance I pick you too.

Lastly, but not least I would look at volume, if you do not require KYC (or at least do not require until certain limit) and you have my favorite coins and you have volume then you are gonna be the place I trade and only two places exist like that, I hate one of them because of how they run it so I go with the first one.

There are some exchanges that are pain in the ass

1. They put limits on coins or tokens you can trade,if your coins is under the limited amount you wont be able to exchange them for example i left my icoinomi tokens on hitbtc till date because i couldn't trade the exact amount due to the limited trading amount

2. Higher trading fees and withdrawal fee is very popular among many exchanges this days, some times i am forced to exchange my coins to other coins that have lower withdrawal fee on the exchanges

I use only popular exchanges like Kucoin, Binance (centralized) and Idex (decentralized). Safety is the most important thing for me.
Perhaps safety and security are always the main parameters that users are interested in when they choose to exchange, but never just this one factor, after we have a safe home, what we need to care about is probably the issue of cost and income. Costs should be reasonable and exchange needs to create conditions for us to earn income, they need to have a high volume of users and high trading volume, safety only allows them to feel that they can stay and live, but it lacks the long-term conditions, so need favorable circumstances to make money

Ofcourse credibility mate because this is the foundation of how reliable a exchange is

You can find so many on them over here or in other sites but the attitude is the most important thing, search via google about their functionality.
And about those accusations and problem that has been pointing to them, look how they manage to settle each and with that you can find one

Fees is just one of the many parameters that come up for consideration. For me, I normally chose an exchange only if it satisfies the majority of the following conditions:

1. Should have a good reputation
2. Should be in operation for more than a year
3. Low deposit/withdrawal fees
4. Ease of getting online support
5. No delay in depositing coins

It depends on the nature of my trade and the coin/token itself. I use binance for most of my needs and use it to hold my coins.
Sometimes I need to use Etherdelta and other DEX to trade a new token while I need Shapeshift and Fixedfloat to convert one coin to other.
Some exchanges are exclusively used to convert to and from fiat currency.

to sell the assets that I have, of course I will see where my coins are listed. if there is a choice then I will choose the one with the highest trade.
but if you want to start trading, volume and security are the first choices to consider. other than that transaction costs are a consideration that should not be left behind.

I'm looking for crypto exchange, and it's challenging for me to pick one. I want to start with changelly because they have low fees, but they have just about 100 coins. what do you think about it?

The things I look for in exchange are
1. Low fees (exchange and withdrawal)
2. Large number of coins and specially the ones I'm following.
3. Large liquidity so that we can easily buy and sell.
4. Security and support.
5. User friendly operation. (Some east Asian sites are hassle to get used to)

I too uses shapeshift and Changelly if I just want a coin be exchanged to other. But as I prefer trading for profit than holding coins, Binance, Kucoin, Probit and Coinex are my choices of exchange.

And I, for example, never used Changelly (I don’t know if this is good or bad). It’s more convenient for me to use large exchanges (with large trading volumes). It used to be Poloniex and Bittrex, now it's Binance.

It's imperative to consider some factors before settling for a cryptocurrency platform to trade. One of the most important factor to be considered is the transaction fee for trading, making deposit and withdrawal. Some centralised exchange charges customers for making deposits, which I consider to be uncool. Some even go to the length of setting their charges strictly in btc or eth and this is unfair considering the fact that the trades may be made with other altcoin.

In my opinion, the most important factor to be considered in choosing a cryptocurrency exchange to trade is the security of the platform. Security breach has been a common problem in several exchanges and that has lead to the loss of millions of dollars. Most exchange had to liquidate after the issue.

I don't think that's a good idea. because there are still many altc who have low prices but they have a lot of coins. like binance or litecoin both altc have a lot of coins and I think the price is still at a fairly low level. or if you want to challenge a little with your money, you can buy it ETH. maybe at this time ETH is still going down in price but I'm sure there will be a surprise at the end of 2019 with a fantastic price surge on ETH. You can check it on coinmarketcap to see or monitor the price of each crypto.

Looks like this changelly exchange is in promotion. Because if there is a topic about exchanges, changelly must be discussed first.

In a certain exchange there is a low cost and security in the exchange. With that, I'm happy to trade there. And with those points I was looking for.

If I'm to choose a cryptocurrency exchange as an experienced trader, I would look at the volume of coins being traded there first as I won't want to wait for days before one of my orders is picked. I will also look out for exchange with working api that I can connect to my tabtrader app. This way I won't have to login to the exchange every time in order to trade

Why would you go with one of these instant exchanges? They're just using the API of other exchanges to transfer funds and charge an additional fee on top.
Just go with Binance, their fees are not too bad and they send out transactions pretty fast when you're withdrawing your funds.

Making Smart Money Work
Choosing an exchange is definitely not an easy task. We should look upon various factors before choosing the right one.
I generally see how good reputed an exchange is followed by factors like liquidity, customer support, coins listed, the UI and UX etc...
If everything seems good only then I decide to deposit my coins in that exchange. The wise ones say that never put all your coins in a single exchange.
So we should choose multiple exchanges (2-4) and keep amount in all of them.
I try to avoid exchanges that manipulate volumes and order books, it makes me wary and see other options, and the security and degree of protection of the exchange is an important factor

You should choose a very large exchange and secure security so you never lose money. Don't be too concerned about the exchange fee. Please take care of the safety of your property. Binance, Huobi, Okex are the 3 best and safest exchanges at the moment

I don't think cheap exchanges will be good for you. Accompanying it are risks that you cannot predict. Choose for quality and reputable exchanges instead of low-cost transactions

Good luck to you!!
