For me, it's a bitcoin community, especially the local Croatian community.
My local bitcoin community helped me a lot with tips in the beginning and over time we became very good friends, even met live at dinner.
Mutual relationships and important information are the greatest values of this forum.

You will get more exposure about crypto and blockchain, I was into crypto in 2016 without knowing anything about this forum and I was struggling with mining rigs as I was using outdated graphics cards then, I never knew those cards are outdated, I thought what I was earning was normal, probably due to high mining difficulty rate but my eye was opened when I started using this forum, I knew that there are some better graphics card for mining through the mining section of this forum, bitcointalk is the right place for crypto and blockchain knowledge

Many projects started from this site, were developed and made thousands of money, so the forum is the best place to get free promotion for your project or your currency if it has good programming.

Lots of developers on this site and some of them have an excellent technical background, so you can get a free evaluation without paying and some of them may help you find deals.

Some sections are devoted to talking about the price and forecasting it, and you can understand how the price is analyzed by people who have sufficient experience in this field.

In short, it is the best treasure for those who want to learn.

You can ask the community about crypto related question in ELI5 way. It's more easy rather than searching on Google and reading a lot of complicated crypto terms that's hard to understand. And also you can enhance your knowledge and learn more about crypto by doing some discussion to other knowledgeable member.

Lastly, It's more fun to learn crypro thing with Forum Fam Member rather than DYOR. Just avoid forum politics because it will just intoxicate you. 

Unless you also plan to take advantage of the marketplace section, everything here is about knowledge be it trading, mining, technical developments, and many other things.

Let me enumerate some advantages that are also under "getting knowledge"
- You get to know many cool projects and I'm not talking about altcoin hypes but tools like johoe.
- You "meet" some really interesting and knowledgeable people in the forum that will correct you or teach you.
- You also get the chance to impart your "improved" knowledge.

There are quite a lot of complex technicalities inherent in bitcoin, so much so, it's going to be very difficult for a newcomer to understand quite quickly, reading the whitepaper itself isn't enough and could even cause more confusion to one lacking in knowledge, but on bitcointalk, you can get a very easy to understand break down of quite a lot of things about Bitcoin from posts and efforts of others, I know you're prolly thinking you can also get that online, but it's very much different, when you read articles online, you'll prolly not be able to send the writer a message on the aspects you don't quite understand, but on the forum, questions, inquiries, no matter how basic or even annoying they are, are all accepted, and you'll definitely get one user or the other to answer them, so bitcointalk provides the most basic knowledge for newbies about bitcoin.

Having said that, Bitcoin is a decentralized concept with the pseudoanonymity feature, the forum also connects Bitcoiners from every continent of the world to discuss about Bitcoin, while still staying as anonymous as they want (as you get to set up your profile the way you choose), I know there are prolly more than one Bitcoin forums, but this is the best and contains the largest repertoire of knowledge.

Last but not least is the incentive to earn, this can be misleading though, to those who come with only that intention, if you're a good user, who puts in efforts, your contributions will be appreciated in the form of merits, this enables you rank up, and possibly wear a signature if you choose, thus earning 'pocket money' from the forum, while still making posts you'll make even without it.

You are here in four months and because of this you are not newbie (it is only your rank on the forum that is decided by your post quality). This quoted part shows you know you can learn crypto knowledge on the forum and you know it is the advantage.

It is the forum for bitcoin initially so there are some most advantageous boards:
Bitcoin Technical Support and Wallet software. There are more advantages for sure and you have to find them.

You've already answered your question: knowledge is the best advantage you can think of as newbie. From there you can work your reputation and/or rank up on this forum by helping others understanding Bitcoin or helping them getting their way around on this forum, which then gives you some other advantages like being able to participate on signature campaigns or other tasks you can earn some BTC with. But for now your main focus should be learning.

We'll get more advantage, but it wouldn't happen if posting in bounty thread only. trust me, you don't get anything if you still live in those habits. Nothing besides, knowledge is the best advantage.

I am a newbie here right now and I have seen lots of discussion group on Bitcointalk from where we can get more than appropriate amount of knowledge related to crypto. But I am also wondering what is the best advantage of using Bitcoin forum besides getting knowledge.

Therefore I made this post to know more advantages of using bitcoin forum as a newbie. Could someone tell me please what are the other advantages of Bitcoin forum and what have you got from here? You can share your own thought
