Gridcoin - The fact that the mining process benefits science is truly a great advantage. IMHO, Boinc (what is benefited by gridcoin) is more important than Primecoin's chain of prime numbers.

Einsteinium / EMC2: Because I like to think about how fast it could advance human technological progress if it grows, especially if it somehow became larger than where BTC is now. (not saying that will happen,
) Imagine a crypto-currency funding the tech to get us to Mars.
Bytecoin / BCN: Because it's such a ridiculous mystery. New protocol, anonymous, a whole blockchain running secretly on the deepweb for 2 years. What? If it's truly anonymous, IMO this coin would've been huge if anyone knew about it. Defines interesting.
