You simply can not set up any general rule for any type of gambling. It has been proven over the time again and again that in same type of gambling one looses where as other makes profit. You can not be sure of anything in gambling but it is your own luck which works more than anything else once you have jumped in. I have made profit and loss in same game same day.
If I will say true than nothing is profitable in gambling everyone need to be lucky to have profit, that is why I am afraid to suggest something for gambling but if we play with planning and do some research than we can make the difference.
For me its bustabit and dice. In bustabit I made 80000% then lost.... I have gone from 0.0066 btc to 0.20 btc. I went from 0.02 to 0.047 and from 0.018 to 0.035 and from 0.02 to 0.05 btc.
In dice the best I have done is on yobit. I wemt from a measley 0.012 btc to 0.20 btc but never withdrew and lost it. Went 0.015 btc to 0.032 btc and from 0.029 to 0.032 .
Those are my best two games for me. I think the odds are best.

but most profits are done with Lotteriesi don't agree with this at all. in fact i think you have only said it because you are wearing the signature containing a lottery.
lotteries are the worst form of gambling that anybody can play, because although the winning can be big but the chance of winning is so tiny and you have to pay a bigger amount to enter the lottery too.

to me as i am mostly going gambling on sports and specially on cricket therefore to me the most profitable gambling is cricket matches. actually gambling on cricket is not totally depending on luck but you mind and thoughts also play an important role in gambling like cricket. therefore i will always suggest you sports for gambling.

but there are games that are considered mostly skill based like sports betting which can be more profitable if you have the skills.
but then again that is not a general thing because it falls on to you and how you are playing those games and your strategies.
yes dice is a luck only game. but this doesn't mean you can't have a strategy in dice which helps you win. you can even modify some existing strategy to make them better. even using martingale method with a large bankroll can help you make good profit with dice games.

for me currently the most profitable in gambling is sport betting because the results can not be set or be engineered by gambling sites but if you want more challenge you could bets all in on the particular games and if you were lucky you will get a lot of profit from your bets however if you are not lucky to do so you will lost all your money only in once bet
for me the most profitable gambling will be poker, not the poker that play against the banker but the type of poker that against player, like in the poker tournament, because when you win you win from more than 1 player, and then sport betting is also profitable because in some games you can win multiply depending on the odds

It can be only profitable if you are lucky in gambling and the most cases is that you are losing in gambling and that would be really bad for you because it is all wasted money. So dont gamble on profit but just for fun otherwise you will become poor in just a time.
Has to be sports betting and not poker. Poker market is too saturated these days with a lot of top level poker players playing perfectly due to all the training available. Its hard to profit there now. Sportsbetting on the other hand has no competition and if you make good picks, then you can easily profit much more than poker. Other games are obviously out of the questions.
