~snip~

Sometimes DYOR isn't enough if no one is scammed (yet) or there aren't any people who found scam website and make thread/article about it. It's especially true for scam website which recently created.

That's right.

However, apparently in this case, OP has not done any due diligence step whatsoever. No question asked, no search made, and with a 2 BTC transaction. And on a site which has been talked about over and again as questionable and shady.

As regards a new and has yet to be reviewed site, I guess basic prudence tells a newbie to avoid using a service which doesn't have any reputation yet. If one is to tumble Bitcoin, a newbie should stick to the one which has already established itself as trustworthy more or less rather than on a site which has yet to earn even a single star. Especially with a significant amount.
Simple search wont really be enough if there would be no further dig or verification.Just like this one;

@OP sorry for your lost mate and this one will charge up to experience. Losing almost 20k usd is really hard to accept in my part. Cry

Links about official site of Chipmixer site is already given above, theres no need to repeat.

Question has been sufficiently answered by the above post.

Let me just add something regarding helping you to grow up. Don't get me wrong, asking questions is good, but researching on your own is definitely better. DYOR has always been what is primarily required in growing up.

Had you done a simple search for reviews on Bitcoin-Laundry.com, you would have learned right away that the site is a scam. You would have come across this thread here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/scam-alert-bitcoin-laundrycom-is-a-scam-mixer-website-5110697.

This is the scammer's bitcointalk profile: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/bitcoin-laundry-2353446. You would have stumbled upon it and read the negative feedback.

For some reasons, the owner was active a few days ago although his/her last post was done months before. Account must be lurking, probably waiting for its next gullible prey.

Well, lesson learned. Spread the word.

Sorry for your loss, mate.

Here the official site of Chipmixer https://chipmixer.com and here is their Announcement thread [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented. Be sure you bookmark the link to prevent from phishing sites.

This question may seem irrelevant but please let people give answers to my question before you trash it.
Don't need to worry, you can ask everything here if you want, prevention is better than cure  Smiley

Hello Admin,

This question may seem irrelevant but please let people give answers to my question before you trash it. I lose 2 BTC 2 days ago because I did not ask question before using the Bitcoin-Laundry.com scam website. I am a newbie in this forum and you people have to help me grow up in this crypto world.

Thanks.
