I genuinely think some of these cryptocurrencies will revolutionize a lot of industries, the can help companies improve productivity and reduce costs. However we're seeing a stage where any ICO is being created for unnecessary needs.

Probably only 1-2% of all cryptos actually have a use case.

I am considering to create a cryptocurrency, however, let's say we do a successful airdrop and 10,000 people have our token. How do we build an infrastructure so they can use them? I don't understand what the point is when 99% of cryptos have zero purpose (including the most popular ones). For example, Litecoin is accepted almost no where. Why does anyone even want it?

There is a lot of useless coins out there, but there is also a lot of useful one. Their goals is to fix a problem that cannot be fixed with regular FIAT. It can be payments, security or a lot of other issues

I think a good cryptocurrency is accessible to everyone at a low price without any restrictions related to the amount of transfer. And of course it's a good way to help good technologies and ecosystems to grow faster.. like these guys do https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annico-artoken-decentralized-arvr-ecosystem-for-3d-content-exchange-2135473

Crypto currency was created in order to make our life more convenient, affordable and more diverse. All altcoyins have a right to exist. Only in competition the strongest survive. Many altkoins work in different narrow spheres of our life and practically do not overlap with each other. The process of their formation will continue for a long time.

There are some cryptocurrencies created so that people can access a certain site by using the cryptocurrency. It is also use for privacy purposes. Just like in gambling sites, people prefer to be unknown when gambling so that others will not know that he is gambling and in the event when someone win a significant amount, it would be for his own protection that people don't know who he is. Cryptocurrency is use as well for transparency purposes like bitcoin wherein people see the transaction but doesn't know the people behind it. The problem with this is that many cryptocurrency are just created without true purpose that's why many just disappear after sometime while those that has true value and usage will always remain.

In the first place,  why do you even consider creating a cryptocurrency if you think they are useless? Huh
Some companies/businesses create their own altcoin that their business will accept. Examples are for online gaming, gambling etc.
Your cryptocurrency won't survive if they're of no use.

well, it really depends what you're trying to do with it. usually crypto is good for applications/platforms that you can use it within and gradually have it become a standard.

For ex. unikoingold is an esports betting platform and they decided to integrate crypto to enable certain functions and make it legal to gamble everywhere.

Litecoin is going to be accepted by Amazon together with Bitcoin. I would like to add in their list Etherum as well, but it's Amazon who will decide which cryptos it will be accepting.
I don't have an experience about creating of a crypto currency, so I won't be helpful to you. I think you should ask for help in service discussion area.

Where is this information from that amerzon will add bitcoin and litecoin?
Link please
I was mistaken. There is a petition of users to Amazon start to accept Bitcoin and Litecoin, 10000 people have signed it already. Here is the link: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.22827412

Altcoins can be useful only when they are used as a fuel to the operations. Otherwise they are just meaningless

Majority of cryptos are made to make tons of profit and the few left are the real projects with true purpose.

The main reason for creating new crypto currency is money, secondly - changing something, creating better conditions for mining, for example.
Yes, and it is difficult to create something really unique, because the new projects appear very fast and it is difficult to follow them all.
So, for a "live" coin you need first a good exchange terms and multi-OS wallet, secondly, so that it accept at least some stores - so many people create projects, sites, games that support only their crypto-currencies - already have a demand)

Well, its up to you

Most coins "developer" who makes the recent "Airdrop" waves are people who are looking for quick profit, premind x% for themselves, dump.

Therefore, how to make sure your coins have value? Developer gotta create value for it, community gotta be able to perform use of value based the coins.
Else, everything will just flow and gone at last

If you have passion to your project you obviously want evolution and development. But many people just want quick money  Sad And this kind of people kills crypto industry.
At least they have made a lot of the project become success caused raise a lot of money to complete the milestones. But those flippers are not understand about the fact their method is really hurting the crypto industry.

In my opinion there is absolutely 0 purpose for most of the crypto's out there. I heard 98%/99%, I'd say it is higher. If your coin is a means of transacting value in a network, why not build the network and use BTC/ETH? There are very few legitimate goals for new crypto assets or currencies besides of course fundamentally improving on the technical aspects of BTC/LTC/ETH etc. I am very interested in your own idea for a currency, would you like to share it with us? I would be open to lend an open mind. PM me if you do not want to make your idea public but would still like an extra mindhand ^^

Sorry for the slight offtopic, I still hope you can get something out of my response
Need a very long study to produce the type of coin, a person or society must know the advantages
If the system does not adopt blockchain and essentially not crypto there will be override cretion
