@OP,
If and when you are talking about bubble, you should definitely consider China (the big whales) to be behind such situations who like to repeat things by manipulating the markets, getting people into buy mode, cheating them and dumping onto them...

If there is no reason behind any price rise, there is just one thing, and that's MANIPULATION...

All of you are so wrong!

The real reason is this:

Satoshi Nakamoto FARTED and MOVED his coins!!!

joke aside, it could certainly be that satoshi is playing with the market and his 1M coins, whit that amount he can manipulate any exchange like nothing, he can even manipulate multiple exchange without problem

Come on I thought Satoshis addresses are well known and monitored all of the time! If he would move one his coin the whole Bitcoin world would know this in the next 5 minutes!

I highly doubt this is possible!

a small correction here... people assume to know what addresses satoshi owns. it could very well be another very early miner with still a lot untouched coins in his/her wallet. i really don't think satoshi is playing with his coins at all. it would simply draw too much attention as there arent many peope with such a load of coins.

not all of his coins are well known, he was mining even when other joined(and you was still able to mine a big portion each day, for example one person that i know was mining 1k btc every 3 days in the summer of 2010), so a big fortune is still unknown, he only need 100k to move the market

I don't think the past two days were a bubble - just increased volatility compared to the beginning of the year. The run up in October yes, that exponential growth was fueled by hysteria and I'd call that a bubbble.

The reason is that the manipulators of this market though it was time for a new pump. And so they started.

If you really think it is influenced by any event; politic or economic then think again. When was the price ever NOT hyped..Exactly never.

Well said. This is just another pump and dump scheme.

No news and suddenly a rise? Who are they kidding. I think many people will buy coins and then see their money has become worth only 80%

Well said. Most people are ignorant and will start complaining when they lose money.

Perhaps the best thing that has come is we are finally out of the 200 area.

Its annoying that even if bitcoin was used by terrorists that it would affect btc.
If a terrorist used gold to buy bombs would that matter? lets bad gold!

The terrorist used a ball point pen to send a letter omg ban them also! (a reach but you get the point)

Its just so annoying when people blame the wand and not the wizard.

Governments will grab anything to make Bitcoin look bad. It isn't the first time, and certainly won't be the last time. Terrorist can and do use anything with value to finance their bad activities. But only Bitcoin will be picked out, and threated like it's all Bitcoin's fault.

and why there should be a good news everytime we need an increase? no sense, the price can increase because, simply, more people started to buy more, the demand is increased

russia banning bitcoin, cannot certainly do anything, when in russia people don't even now what bitcoin is, basically their ban is pointless to consider as a form of impact on the market

I was reading somewhere that russia is going to ban cryptocurrency and people are predicting latest paris attack involves bitcoin transactions. All this thing should have lower the price but we are seeing steady rising curve on price.

What can be the reason of this?

The reason for the price specifically was manifested to confuse you OP.

give me your cryptos
It's mainly people realizing that the Paris attacks and Bitcoin have no real connection; they're beginning to make sense xD

I'd love to believe that Bitcoin's community is doing all it can to raise the price, not just hodling. Wink

Every other week Russia is banning cryptocurrency, it's nothing to really care about. I remember back in 2013 everyone on this forum was losing it because Russia was saying they intended to ban Bitcoin. It's probably the news anyone around here cares the least about.

As for the Paris attacks having been funded by Bitcoin, unless there is a large amount of evidence to prove this claim, I'd take it with a grain of salt. There are always people trying to push some agenda, and theirs specifically is making sure no-one gets to have with cryptocurrencies.

Never mind the Russian news, they issue a statement "banning" bitcoin every few months. The terrorist attacks were not bitcoin funded. Bitcoin used to be really sensitive to negative news. Now that bitcoin is down for so long, we need really bad news to sink further down. I believe we care back to fundamentals now, and they are pointing up.
