I don't think dice games are risky at all because for a newbie to gambling I feel two things are most important.

1- Not loosing too much initially - You can claim faucet from almost all dice sites and bet all day so they are not risky I feel.

2- Easy to play game - Well, I have never seen a game as simple as rolling dice and getting a number from 1-100

But apart from gambling I feel that someone with basic knowledge can make good money with cards games too as I have a few friends who don't gamble on sports or dice or roulette but they play poker all day and somehow make fine profits.

Even newbies have to start somewhere, so the answer's probably reliant on what you best know before gambling.

Cards are out as you have to learn the suits and probabilities there but if you have a good foundation in maths, basic probability, and you understand house edge (which is fairly quick to comprehend) then yeah, I'd say dice and roulette work as an easy entrant. Go into any casino and see the leisure bettors, though, and it's mostly slots. No brainer, people don't really want to care about edge or probability, they believe in pure luck, so they go for slots.

Now if you know a thing about sports, as most people do, and have a favourite game, person or team you follow a lot, I'd suggest looking at that though. Problem is the passion involved;)

More likely it is, however I've been reading some news that E-sports in different games are trying to bring up a online tournament so there might a chances that you can place a bet on it too. Sadly, physical games like in NBA, Football etc. are cancelled due to the outbreak of coronavirus. Even me, I suffer from not watching NBA lol.

I started playing with card games since I know a lot of card games but then it turns out that dice are way more fun and all you need is luck getting pretty much enough for a 50 50 prob.

I tent to agree that the high odds games are risky but yet they are easy to learn. My suggestion always has research on which game they were suitable, there are too many gambling sites out there that not based on luck that usually high odds. Or maybe E-sports but make sure their game was verified.

The rules of the dice game are really not too complicated, newbie can be proficient in how to set the numbers after only a few times of playing but the speed of this game is probably too fast, newbie often will not be able to control their betting speed and the end result is more loss than they imagined, so this is probably not a safe game when we want to bet with crypto. The simplest and safest is still sports gambling, knowledge of the teams is one thing that newbie never lacks, especially casinos cannot act on this system when the sports games are very fair

I would suggest strategical gambling games and sportsbetting. According to Help guide, electronic games or machines are where most of the gamblers engage themselves with such as slot machines. The reason is maybe, this is an easier kind of game. An individual could get frustrated if ever the outcome would show that he is unlucky, the tendency is that, one could push his luck and lead to bigger losses. While on the other hand, on strategical games, they would consume more time because every game would be time consuming and they could also be more engaged into the 'strategy' that they would use in order to win, the amount of bet will depend on the person but if he is not that much of a hard bet kind of person, things would go well. Same thing with sportsbetting, the player will just enjoy the game itself and the team or player he believed of winning. If ever he would lose his bet, he could somehow enjoy watching the game.

I think it would be best to start with a goal in gambling: to not let your emotions affect the amount you bet. Having a mindset of just only playing and not aiming for 'jackpot' should be the start to any gambler who is interested to engage himself into such activity.

Playing cards, dice and roulette, and lottery style game often depends on your luck and doesn't necessarily requires further knowledge at all that's why it's too easy. And it's disadvantage was, yes it can give you huge income, but with further playing those, you'll soon be attached on gambling and later be addicted onto those. And, it has a bigger possibility to lose than to win.

I also prefer and would say people to do sports betting initially as you would; have the idea about the players or the team whom you support or know how better team it is against the playing opponent. May be the odds may not be that good with the best team or player but still you will make some money from it rather than initially just playing dice or roulette and losing the money.

If there still are any casinos with free faucets, then that one is my answer. Otherwise, some large community where people usually tip others like PrimeDice. I don't think I've ever been tipped anywhere on a casino more than I've been on PD and that surely makes the game way more fun..

I think dice is a good option for gamblers who are new to online gambling, it is one of the most easiest game to learn and it is not that difficult to verify the betting result on dice using the provably fair tools on reputable dice sites. Since we are talking about the newbie here so it does mean that he will have no self control over himself and if no body is there to teach him, he may lose all of his money very quickly.
