I believe it's way better to store one's funds in Bitcoin then in USDT but surely everyone is different and in that case there are many wallets that one can use to store USDT.

Most people who prefer hardware wallets will either choose Ledger or Trezor but there are some software wallets as well that some people prefer.

Those who don't care about open source nature of a wallet can use Trust wallet but as we all know that when some software isn't open source then privacy can't be there.

I guess the myetherwallet is also a good and open source wallet to store USDT and some people might prefer it over trust wallet because it's fully open source.
Of course btc is safer i already have Electrum installed on offline machine but btc price is too expensive i cant just buy it at +80k$
so i need to store usdt on a safe wallet till btc drop thats why im asking about a wallet for usdt i dont want to use ledger because
of their recovery shit scam

ledger
This before is a good one but not anymore today.

Many from the forum doesn't like it anymore due to the new feature that it has, the 'ledger recover'.

Instead of standing firm as a hardware wallet that's being liked by everyone. They've added that feature that started to be hated by many in the community because it lets them know our backup/recovery phrases.

ledger and trezor is always the hardware wallet to go, whales use it, rich holders use it, I see no reason why to not use it instead of using other wallet that isn't as reliable.

I mean you can always just generate some address, using metamask for example, and just save the seed phrase / private key and write it to paper, it's already secure enough way to store your USDT as long as someone doesn't steal it.

thnx for replying does trezor also accept BEP20 for deposit and withdrawal also i heard that its hard to use trzor on pc especially for altcoins is that right ?
As OmegaStarScream mentioned above, Metamask supports Trezor, but the current metamask network it is set to the Ethereum network by default. To change the network for BEP20, you must manually add the Binance chain network and use Trezor as your signer on all transactions (deposit and withdrawal).

You can follow the guide here: Connecting MetaMask to BNB Smart Chain

i want to store usdt what is the safest wallet to store it i already know about Trezor
but is there any safe wallets you can recommend only for usdt im planning to store between 5000$ and 20000$
since i want to buy btc at cheap price in the future and i dont want to store my usdt in exchanges for long time
I believe that the way of storing your USDT is also more important than just choosing a hardware wallet. As the previous replies mentioned it’s very hard or even impossible to find a hardware wallet designed only for USDT. However, many reputable hardware wallets like Ledger or Trezor, do support multiple cryptocurrencies, including USDT on diffrent blockchains. Beyond hardware, security practices like using strong passphrases, enabling two factor authentication and regularly updating firmware are also important for protecting your assets.

Choosing a reliable wallet and ensuring you use a secure blockchain like TRON or Ethereum even if they require more gas fees for USDT transactions, it will help to keep your funds safe while you wait for an opportunity to buy BTC.

Good thing that you have mentioned that you don't want to store your USDT in exchanges. Because the typical thought of someone that want to catch cheap Bitcoins or any other altcoins that someone want to buy is to get it on exchanges and load them there so whenever the dump happens, they can press that buy order. But as mentioned about using metamask, that's also going to be my option if ever I want to move to exchanges quickly these USDTs when I want to buy. Most of the networks that supports it are quick so there's nothing to worry about when you're about to do the transfers.

Unfortunately, Trezor Suite (the official Trezor software) doesn't directly support BEP20 tokens right now. But as already mentioned by OmegaStarScream, you can still use your Trezor with a third-party wallet like MetaMask. This way, you get the best of both worlds: the security of a hardware wallet and the flexibility of a software wallet.

As for using Trezor on a PC, it's pretty straightforward. Trezor is designed to be user-friendly and secure, even for less experienced users.

USDT is itself not safe, you must know this fact first.
PSA: Most Stablecoins Can Be Frozen, Even in Your Own Wallets

There are many wallets to store your USDT, and "best" (if you have fund to buy a hardware wallet) wallet is hardware wallet because it is a cold wallet.
You can choose open source hardware wallets.

As I have mentioned above, you can connect your device with MetaMask. See this guide[1].

Once you do that, you should be able to connect to pretty much any EVM network. BSC, Polygon, Arbitrum one or nova, etc. you name it. The same way you do it with MetaMask already.

There is no hardware wallet "only for USDT". At least, I have never heard of one before.

Trezor is a great choice. You can use the TRC-20 version of USDT if you'd like, or any EVM based network when connecting your wallet with MetaMask.

I guess another alternative would be to just create a new wallet using MetaMask on a (safe) offline computer, print the private key/address and send USDT to it and then use it once you're ready to buy.
