I probably recommend the Blockchain wallet because the security is awesome. A 4-digit PIN is used to access your wallet on your phone. It not only shows the balances of each of your Bitcoin addresses, it can also scan QR codes and display on a map the location of nearby merchants who accept bitcoins. The only thing it is missing is the ability to handle other digital currencies.

Blockchain is the safest wallet
No, you're wrong, any online wallets is not safe, at them there is a human factor. You need to use desktop wallet, it will be safe enough

I prefer coinbase. But make sure your security measures are active, like two factor authentication and strong password

safety is better than sorry, so for me i better to choose bitcoin core and electrum bitcoin wallet. this two wallets are i trusted most. but i didnt say that the other bitcoin wallet are not safety to use, maybe i have found some features from these two wallets that suits to my needs. you can include this two wallets for more options to choose.

Safest wallet is common sense.
People owned Trezor but still lost Bitcoins. Why?
Because they gave their seed on some third party website to claim Bitcoin Cash/Gold and soon Diamond.

Never give your seeds. Use air gaped PC preferably Linux such as Tails with electrum for Bitcoin.

Read the guides on how to secure your stash. Treat it like a treasure because it is.

Edited:
oh and make sure to create backup of the seed on a physical paper for yourself in case you lose hardware wallet.

If you need a safer wallet, you must buy a hardware wallet. It is the best and safest wallet for your bitcoins, but its more expensive than the others.

why there are so many wallet and why people use different type of wallet?
The easiest answer (cause there are more than this) is that it is like in companys, why you have so many diffrent brands of phones, drinks, boots cause every "company" want to earn and people pick one of them cause of number of coins, tax, fast or even is someone just recomend it to someone.

I think you should look more closly to coinbase cause it is one of the most safest and friendly for begginers (easy to use) users to just have some amount of coins on it.

I find the Trezor wallet it works for me,
It is a hardware which I find to be safe and a secure
Way to store your BTC.
My preference, but a lot of other ways to store, do some research
And decide what's suits you, always keep in mind security.

In my honest opinion, I believe that paper wallet is the best and cheapest option when it comes to the holding Bitcoins. However, one must generate it in the secure environment, store it in a safe place, maintain more than 1 backup copies at various locations to prevent it from losing forever. When it comes to the hardware wallet like Trezor, it is safe too but comparatively costly yet flexible to use as compared to that of paper wallet.

Paper wallets are a really clumsy way to store your coins. Not only that they take time to make, can be read by anyone that breaks into your house, easily damaged by water. With all the advanced options users have I wouldn't choose a paper wallet, unless I was afraid of an EMP attack, but there are safes with EMP protection if you're that paranoid.

You don't need hardware wallets if you have knowledge how to keep your keys safe alongside with your computer. Hardware wallets just make it easier for "non-tech" people.

But yes go with paper wallet specially if you are looking to hold bitcoins for a long period of time. For extra security run live OS (on CD/USB) without Internet connection and print it to multiple copies and hide them on more places: for security purposes. Since you need to make sure that you won't lose it.

You may also want to look at HD:deterministic wallets (BIP39 , BIP44) you can google this to see how it works. In short this wallet gives you a "seed" / "mnemonic" that you need to know/save. With these "seeds" you are able to generate bitcoin private key and address not one pair but multiple of them. This can come handy if you need more than one address and also if you are keeping/storing many other cryptocurrencies as many of them support this feature as well. Which means by backing up this seed you can get access to many private keys for other coins as well, not just bitcoin - this is mostly the way how some multi-coin wallets store your private keys and public key in the first place.

But I would go with paper wallet why not.

I have been suggested to use blockchain.info wallet for the better security and for the ease of accessing. When it comes to altcoins and for other tokens myetherwallet wallet has been suggested.
