With the price increasing nicely and being above and stabilizing at $7k does anyone think this will affect the gains when this site can not announce who satoshi is because everybody is very much in doubt they really will have any solid proof to prove who they will show who he/she is is infact the real creator of bitcoin. They will unveil in 2 days haha Let's see if this is some kind of a joke. What if we saw Craig Wright, or what if we saw some other man.

so I believe that this guy who proclaims himself to be satoshi will be ashamed because I doubt that he will give proof that he is satoshi

he didn't claim to be Satoshi, or did it miss some new drama?
as far as i know he only claimed to know who the real Satoshi Nakamoto is and promised to reveal his true identity soon without giving any more information. aka the classic attention whore tactics.

Looks like this is somewhat associated with John McAfee.

John McAfee is more focused on his projects:

John McAfee’s first crypto Visa card launches in 90 days

and he's focused on his presidential campaign:

The crypto card is creppy. I dont know if I would want to carry that around and have people see I was supporting his presidential candidacy. Even if it was in the name of use crypto.
No thanks.

I can add a little to this... we sold the domain name about a month ago out of our crypto portfolio at MinerBrand.com but we sold it on Afternic and have no idea who the buyer is and we never dealt directly with him/her. Any prior domain history you see is ours and doesn't reflect the buyer's identity. I've seen various posts on other websites and Twitter hinting that the name was not transferred and that the owner since 2017 is the same person who created the site. That's not true. It was transferred last month (actually I think it was just pushed to another GoDaddy account) but Afternic handled the whole transfer and we have no clue who bought it.

Thanks for sharing, guess we'll know more in about 3 days.

What are you guys guessing? Just a marketing stunt?

I think it is just another drama from another marketing strategist. They are using the situation to gain some customers I guess. The website is nothing but a countdown we should just wait I guess but for me I don't really hope they will reveal satoshi.

Just want to collect your data email they will try to make a database email then try to spam you with some scam attempt or promotion about the airdrop and other think. Better avoid to signup.

Let's see what this website will expose in around 9 days...

Exciting. But I do hope that the creator Satoshi won't be found as he will be in a considerable risk holding priv keys to the early bitcoin wallets.
It will also crash the market since the number of bitcoins in circulation will increase as those btc he currently holds are considered "burned".

Would have been better, if it really was him, to just post here in this forum sining his message using his PGP key or early btc addresses.

these kind of websites collect email data and send scam emails so better nt to make these websites viral
I no a lot of websites are out to get people data to be used for there illegal activities and this one is one of such because if you are very correct with to quest to unravel who is behind the name santoshi you will know that as bitcoin is anonymous so is santoshi. So the website to me is in relevant for now.

Nothing lasts forever
New drama unfolding ?
Definitely no. It's just a random person spreading FUD in the market. We don't know his motive yet but don't you think it's fishy ?
Why would Satoshi ask for people's email addresses to reveal his identity? He could do that just by making a post here on the forum.
I think it's just a random person spreading FUD, getting emails of users, getting clicks on his website for obvious reasons and will probably misuse the data collected.

all I can think about after seeing this is someone is trying to get users data by using the famous satoshi finding rumors ( pretending he was to find Satoshi) I will just say ignore it as it does not have any context and people are just giving away their ip's and browser data while visiting literally nothing. I mean stop trying to use these cheap tricks you can't get famous like this you need smart work.

Many sites like this just use "clickbait" type subjects to attract people to their site and also to collect personal data for marketing purposes.

The fact that they have a countdown to a specific event, tells me that this is not a long-term marketing strategy, but rather a short-term data collection effort. I would use throwaway social media accounts to register with sites like this, to avoid unsolicited email and social media marketing to my main accounts.  Tongue

Careful it could be a phishing email site for all we know. I mean I doubt satoshi would make a facebook or instagram.

It is obvious that it's not him.

In those 10 years of hiding and with a lot of people finding and making a way to unmask him, why would he make a lot of accounts on social media resurfacing just like that? There are a lot of people that say they are Satoshi Nakamoto but until now they can't prove it hence they are not. I will just be an observer of what might may happen, but I will not be putting my email there.
