Have you ever felt alone and depressed? Have you ever felt that nobody likes you? Have you ever walked on the street and felt that everybody is looking at you in a bad way?
I really don't understand what happened to people.. did they forgot how to smile?!
I feel that people don't care anymore about others and i have seen so many fundraisers online that barely collect 100$. I see people acting bad with animals and nature.. and one with another. Where is this going to lead? Global corporations don't know what else to do to make money on poor people backs and step on bodies to become no.1.
I am ashamed of today's society.. we live in a cruel world and i wish it ends soon because this is not the way humans should live.
How do you feel about what's happening around us?

Don't worry, with global warming, we'll all be dead soon.

All problems of society will go away when society believes in God as the Bible teaches, and follows what the New Testament says. Then, not only will society's problems go away, but even the individual's problems will go away. Death will become the door to eternal life in Heaven... when the N.T. is believed by a person.

Cool

Have you seen that series The handmaid's tale? It's a shot at how the society obsessed with the Bible can turn out. At some point they start rewriting it, and killing everyone who don't agree with their version of the one and only "God's will". Too much religion is not good for you.
All problems of society disappear when the society disappears. As long as humans live they will have problems and emotions. They will fight, kill each other, envy. Religion won't change that.

The average person has always been unlikable. No reason to overdramatise.
Focus on educating people on greater morals, instead of complaining about their lack thereof.
If you don't have the free time to educate others - get rich first (in a moral way, of course)

Too many people with little self awareness. No responsibility for own actions - only violence when the outcome doesn't suit them.
But it's always been like this.
You be wise to ignore low people and make yourslef better. Help family and friend

our values have gone down the drain.  there's so much pride that's why our world is so chaotic.  people have no regard for human lives, animal lives, nature, laws, etc.  we are causing our own downfall.  we believe so much in ourselves and forgot WHO got us here in the first place.

When it comes to social problems – or your personal problems – is to ask if the thing you’re worried about is a serious problem that could potentially be harmful or it's just you've invented it in your mind? I think many problems in modern society is just inside people's head. We inventing our own doomsday's. Right?

I agree with you. When I think about our today's society I will angry myself by thinking this why I was born in this country, in this society. I am living in a dirty political society. I want a beautiful and friendly political society.

How do you feel about what's happening around us?

Too few people listening to Bible tapes on a daily basis.

Cool

Lol I like your claim that God accelerated the printing press technology to distribute the bible by the way, it sounds plausible.

You are goddamn right.
It`s always been like this, I am sure people of the past wondered about the same question centuries ago. Only small details change, the general context of flawed society remains the same.

I agree. It is possible that the internet makes our behavior more easily observable, but our nature has never changed.

Humanity has always been like that. Just for some reason, you began to notice it right now. Perhaps this is due to your personal problems or depression. If the latter is true, then you need to seek help from a psychologist.
And people have always been mostly insidious and selfish. Read Shakespeare or just a book on history, and you will understand that for hundreds of years, humanity has not become better or worse. Everything is as usual.
If all this is so depressing to you, try changing the world around you, starting with yourself. Smile more to people, do good deeds. Perhaps then you will see a response from others and begin to see more positive things in your life.

Very philosophical, and I agree with the sentiment. Humanity has remained somewhat unchanged in my opinion. The people of a thousand years ago are as evil/good as the people of today.

The worst of society is that we admire actors, musicians, and billionaires and we want to be like them and they despise us for being common people. We have to pay more attention to  academic achievements, science fairs and science discoveries instead of sports events or sports stars when that day comes we will have a huge step forward

Couldn't agree more… Society is not the primal reason that humanity faces psychological pressure and symptoms of depression. After all we, as a society, are all part of the fundamental elements forming this problem. Nevertheless, there are people that can’t change things on their own, such as elders or patients, so the society must act and find ways to protect them from marginalisation and isolation. Humans need to let go of their own selfish ways-always thinking of profit- and do something for others for a change. That's not that likely though, so a start could be to simply start supporting projects and initiatives that guarantee their well- being, like that hinounou project mentioned aboved or others with a similar vision… I would love to know that my kids will have the chance to live in such society one day.

Well basically i feel burden and i somehow feel suffocating too in some way, yes a lot of us being or seems to feel in the same way but then again we need and must accept the reality that today's society is too cancer and to much complicated, so for me basically the wrong are us, yes us, because we the one who must be responsible.

1) People have been distanced from each other entirely via the internet.
2) The internet has highlighted the corruption, lies, and evil within modern society, and within most people. They have accepted their own evil and it has shrouded them in hatred.
3) People have openly rejected god and accepted Satan.

The modern socialists have had their selfish masks torn off, and they stopped feeling the need to be fake nice.

I can only wish for a future life where we could be all totally equal and with the desire to be happy instead of being happy on others misery.
Won't that be a good thing?

It would be, but I think it`s near impossible. Too much effort is needed to reverse the trend, and after all: who actually needs it? Certainly not corporations that can aggravate this division by selling premium stuff to people who can afford it. While the world is still ruled by money, this will never be the case.

It seems to me that there are two words which can describe our society in its fullest: money and loneliness.
It`s all about money today: people focus only on money alarmingly often, which makes them miss the rest of their life. They tend to miss the point that no matter how much money you earn, they make no sense if you can`t enjoy spending them.
As for loneliness, we do everything on the social media to make other people pay attention to us. Everybody is so eager for attention nowadays, it feels like these people won`t be able to survive if they`re left alone.

I agree with you.
I think the purpose of social media is being misunderstood nowadays. I sometimes feel that people are actually eager to make other jealous. I think there are some that actually live and enjoy the misery of others..
There is a fine line with social media and it's so easy to make one step to the left or one to the right.
I can only wish for a future life where we could be all totally equal and with the desire to be happy instead of being happy on others misery.
Won't that be a good thing?
