Boyz ll Men. Their songs makes me calm and helps me relax. I always listen to their songs when I have a bad day or a very stressful moment. Everything feels slowing down and it makes the mood chillax. It helps me think better and clearer. Their song just helps me to take all.my worries and stress away.

I like any & all alternative metal / rock to heavy death metal.
Deftones ..agreed (i like them too)
From softer to heavier it don't matter ..it's all good.

In case you didn't know you can find me trolling hard all the time on www.metalsuck.net

If i didn't pick Morbid Angel.. i would vote for Godflesh.
A pioneer in mixing electronic music with heavy metal and GOOD at it too (but band is mostly metal)
With J. K. Broadrick's side projects the guy's life time of work is astounding.
Spanning many genre's.. like "Shoe Gaze" with the band called Jesu.

So my 2nd pick is more practical as a recommendation.
But i listen to MA far more often i think.. and yeah "Covenant" rules ass hard !

Both bands are alive & kicking.. Godflesh got back together not long ago.
And Steve Tucker rejoined Morbid Angel.

For those interested in Godflesh i suggest checking out the Discogs page and see what is related or linked to it.

Are you maybe into some tech death like Beyond creation, Gorod, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Hour of Pennance,etc..?

I would probably opt for "Modest Mouse" because they have clear and clever lyrics, catchy songs and amazing drumming guys.

Morbid Angel

Yeah dude, I love Morbid Angel!

My favorite album is probably Covenant, it's one of the albums that got me into death metal when I was younger. Blessed are the Sick is a close second.

Trey Azagthoth's guitar playing is just incredible in those earlier albums, some of the solos are totally face melting insane.

Morbid Angel

Because they have lots of evil songs with Satan worship.
They had a video banned in the 90's for the song "God of Emptiness" for drowning a priest.
It's ok though.. the uppity bastard had it coming with his Christian ways.

Embrace the dark side and Praise the strength like a proud heretic !

Quote
How can you defeat that which finds
Nourishment in your attack?
How can you kill that which
Finds sanctuary in your blade?
How can you hinder that which
Embraces the strategies against it?
You can take nothing from not
In My Being, Nothing Is
Nothing Becomes
Nothing is not
In your world, all things return to Me
I'm the Collector of Souls
For they're never past my control
I take of what is and nothing of that I give
I'm the Alpha Omega
By a way in Itself, complete
I Am The Continuum
Human, meagerness of purpose
Come feed Me what I please
My spirit shan't be hindered
For It Knows no weakness
I dine on your pain
Your strength is only that of men
Human, why do you clutch your flesh so?
In My Being I AM
I Will
I Create
In your world all things return to Me

Less is more
The Beatles
they changed the world with music, let us walk alone
I Wanna Hold Your Hand    very pleasant to hear
The Beatles is the legend and no one can replace them. All of their songs are passionate and sympathetic. I also love Micheal learn to Rock because they are my childhood and I have listened all of their song

Im oldies slow rock fan. Eagles, scorpions, bryan adams, air supply, and metallica are my favorite bands. I love slow rock than any other punk rock and ear popping song these days. I dont like hevavy rock/metal because it hurts my ear everytime i hear it. Also some lyrics were senseless and some are just possessed by demons. More of a satanic thing.

Hard to pick just one but if I had to, I'd go with Slayer (not hard judging by my avatar) - up to and including Seasons In The Abyss, especially. RIP Jeff Hanneman!

Nice. Slayer rock hard.

I don't know if I could name a favourite band, I go through stages of enjoying very different styles of music, some of them bands and some of them more like electronic producers.

I'm totally into a French producer called Igorrr right now, he fuses elements of baroque classical music, black metal, and electronic breakcore to create some absolutely insane music. It's pretty, um, out there... but amazing stuff. He's also releasing a new album in the next couple of months.

One of his earlier tracks, "Tendon", pretty mental (especially the ending): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWca1X7nFGo

Here is a live performance of one of his tracks with one of his vocalists, amazing singer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Rk1K5Mmnbg

Here is an EP with him collaborating with another breakcore artist, Ruby My Dear. Very cool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHG9WbyHKmg

I've always loved Cradle of Filth, although their newer albums are pretty shit compared with their old stuff. They are a sort of "extreme metal" band from the UK, with elements of black, death, gothic and thrash metal. Many tracks about vampires and mythical demons etc, very silly but they don't take themselves too seriously and some of the lyrics are very well written.

One of my favourite tracks by them is "Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids" - youtube vid with lyrics: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m46c_dBVKHk

I am also very much into a synthwave "band" called S U R V I V E, they are a synth group that made the soundtrack for the series "Stranger Things".

Here is there newest album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z30CFPklA8Q, I absolutely love the track "Dirt" at around 8.10, but the whole album is an amazing journey and worth listening to from beginning to end.

Another good synthwave producer is Mitch Murder (who made most of the soundtrack to Kung Fury), here is one of my favourite tracks "In The News": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dz7rK3Eks4s

So yeah, I'm into pretty weird stuff right now, but I like everything from Bjork to Napalm Death, Paul Simon to Gustav Holst.

Edit: Oh yeah I forgot about Kraftwerk, those guys fucking rock! Radioactivity live, absolute synth and visual sickness... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNUzfcNGKHo

My favorite band might be The Mark-Almond band.

They were a 70s jazz-fusion band from the UK that nobody knows about...but everyone should.

Check out "The City" or "Trade Winds" for a good introduction.
