The brain is one of the organs of the body that requires exercise to stay strong and healthy like other organs. Reading a book helps keep the brain active so that it can perform its functions properly and correctly. I therefore make the book a favorite for me

The Great Gatsby. It's a slice-of-life kinda story, plus the protagonist is a millionaire trading stocks ; )

The Hobbit. I honestly think it's just the most perfectly balanced fairy tale/fantasy story. An ideally ironic hero, caught in a story so much bigger than themselves, yet they still have the most significant impact on the story out of any character, despite a real connection to the narrative of the story. I just love it.

I personally like books with some degree of action/tension. I think the Harry potter series is a good example,
