But seriously, don't worry too much about it though. Music speaks to our feelings and mood at a certain point in time, that's why if you like a lot of different types of music, it'll be very hard to pinpoint which artist might be the best one for you.

i Love music very much so i can name some of my favorite depend on their genre .Rock Bands - Guns en Roses,Metallica,Aerosmith,Stone temple Pilot,Nirvana and Alice in Chain.
Solo Artist - Ed Sheeran,Micheal Jackson,Allie Sherlock
and many more to mention.
That is a great list there. But, I find Ed Sheeran a little repetitive.

It’s absolutely the same for me, because the first thing I’m listening to is not a band or artist, but music, I like something and something not.
As a musician (lyricist/songwriter/arranger), from classic rock to blues-rock, to modern and/or alternative rock, these are the main genres of my personal musical influences.
But generally speaking, I listen to almost any type of music, simply just depending on my mood I guess.

Definitely a lot of grunge. Alice in chains, Soundgarden, STP, Hole, Nirvana, Mad Season, Temple of the Dog. And the list goes on and on and on........

i have a lot in mind. but I love mad season the most! that band is epic with layne staley fronting the stage. just so sad that he died earlier in his career. could have been a great reunion today if i see them live!
Just thinking about it, I can't really give a single name but surely a long list. I love music that lifts body, spirit as soul in all ramifications. I often use music to calm myself when stressed. Music is life I must say.
