I like the historical dramas (masterpiece theater from the 80s always rocks IMHO)
past series I have watched religiously; the wire, breaking bad, the killing, sopranos
classics; fawlty towers, upstairs downstairs, get smart, quincy, magnum pi, rockford files (the last 4 are for kitsch factor only)
mostly though, at this point in my life, I've had enough of sitcoms and network fare. My kids watch family guy and I cant stand to even listen to it from the next room, real lowest common denominator stuff there, I honestly do not find it even slightly funny.
I mostly only follow the odd miniseries or hbo style show. which reminds me, its time for season 5 of Boardwalk Empire! woot!
EDIT- I forgot Girls and Bored to Death (great writing and acting both)

I just started watching Parks and Recreation and it is damn funny 
I highly recommend it.

House of Cards had me completely glued to the tv for each episode. Kevin Spacey is incredible along with everyone else on that cast. Must watch for sure.
I always watch The Walking Dead, now I'm also interested with the upcoming reality tv show "UTOPIA".
Almost Human should at least get a courtesy mention for it's recurrent mention of Bitcoin as a store of value, which is very progressive of it.
It was a good one. Too bad they terminated after one series but still worth watching.
Will check it out.
