My gambling strategy in Hocky games is that i pick couple of top teams or weaker one and bet on the top teams to win and on the weaker one to lose and i chose NHL because odds in those games always high and if lost the bet i bet on the same team for the next game with doubling the amount sometimes jusrtthe same amount depends on their situation and opponent's.

Poker players actually live from gambling alone and that doesnt makes them bad when they just dont set their limit high
you can not live from gambling alone even if it is poker game and you are a professional poker player. or at least it wouldn't be a good life.

True, self control is most important thing when gambling, if you don't have control you can lose more money than you can afford to lose. But it sounds more like responsible gambling than gambling strategy to me.

Interesting, i am using similar strategy but i don't really look at the time, it is more like after few bad rolls i raise my bet.
