It is impossible for IQ tests to be accurate. What's more, IQ tests are not meant to be used as a scientific means of testing intelligence at all.
As ridiculous as the idea of an IQ test being accurate is, many people believe them to be so. In reality, IQ tests are a pseudoscience.

I've been a member of Mensa for years. That means you have to be over 148, and I was above that.

ps. I'm working on getting my age up to that level as well. Smiley

Have you tested your IQ yet?
 Are the IQ tests accurate?
Can you recommend some of the most accurate IQ tests?
I don't classify people by intelligence

The most important thing is that a person be good

If a person is smart, it does not mean that he is good.

I’ve never done a legit IQ test. I have only ever done free ones online. My problem is I get bored & irritated easily, my concentration span isn’t too long so I usually score lower than I probably should to be honest. I would be interested to see how I do in a proper, proven test.

IQ stands for Intelligence Quantitative.

It is a parameter that is used to identify a person's intelligence.

These parameters may vary from situation to situation.

No, it doesn't, and it's not.
IQ stands for Intelligence Quotient, and it's meant to create a relation between people's intelligence. Having an 160 IQ doesn't make you a genius, it just means you're above average. On the same token, having a 100 IQ doesn't mean you're an idiot.

For the record, I did take the test about 10 years ago. Got a 148 score. Guess I should take it again, as it changes with age, but it's kinda boring...
