What is your one memory related to Bitcoin that you want to forget? It can be anything like some sort of scam happening to you or some other type of loss.

I don't like everything happened from the past even if I experience bad especially with those scamming happen or those trade failures I get since from that experiences I learn a lot and became more better crypto adopter.

If we try to forget about those past experiences without looking at the mistakes we made for sure we will never grow and might get deceive for another attempt made by these scammers. I know sometimes its hard to came back on the past activities we made since losing a lot of money really hurt us, but once we always remember those pain for sure we will be more careful on taking decisions especially on new things that we want to try. Experience is really a great teacher so we should look at the past happening since it can contribute good to our future.

Memories or bitter experiences in investing in Bitcoin are not to be forgotten, failure in Bitcoin investment often comes to investors who can burn some or all of their capital due to losses or being victims of fraud. For me, all of these incidents are the most valuable experiences. Every time I remember bitter experiences in the past, I always become cautious when investing.
Unpleasant experiences in the past will change a person's character for the better in the future, learning from experience will make you more alert so that the same incident does not happen again.
Bad experiences in investing are not to be forgotten, but must be used as lessons.

Even though I had a lot of bitcoins and maybe hundreds of them in the past, and I sold them early, participated in ponzi games, used them for gambling...but all without regrets. To me, everything is experiences and life lessons that help us become more mature. Furthermore, there are still many opportunities available to us and it is up to us to seize them or continue to miss them. So I see no need to be sad or think about the past with regret. Life is about moving forward, not back, so why do we keep remembering it?

Years ago when I was learning a skills from a master someone happened to have some Bitcoin on him and he was a class mate of mine in school, I don't know how he got the Bitcoin and they are very cheap them, after seeing each other for a long time we got back together as friend and he wanted to gave me one BTc but my ignorance got in the way.

I told him that things like this don't last long, I was referring to the past bubble burst that was popular in the world back then, that was also the first time I heard the name Bitcoin, I wished I listened to him, like I don't know what was waiting for me a year later, because that was when the struggles in my family gets real and tougher.

A year later I could find this friend again, his number isn't working anymore and now if I give it a try a lady always pick up and she claimed she don't know who my old friend is, I am sure this friend of mine is no more in the country, I hope he is doing well wherever he is.

If there is a problem with fraud, thank God I have never experienced it so far, I hope fraud never happens to me. However, there is a feeling of regret and it is difficult to forget because of Bitcoin, and I try to forget and look to the future from now on.

What I want to forget are the memories of five years ago, at that time I actually had a friend who had invested in Bitcoin but at that time I didn't care and I considered it just an ordinary investment, in fact I considered it a seasonal investment. That's the thing I most want to forget because at that time I didn't immediately listen to my friend's advice to invest in Bitcoin.

But now I started focusing on investing in bitcoin at the end of last year, and I also feel encouraged because many users on this forum say it's never too late to invest in bitcoin.

When I sold all my Bitcoin in 2017 easily before the bull happened , i made the stupidest decision in my life that my funds would be multiplied by 6 if not made that wrong decision and now I never forget that time and still ringing in my mind every time bull run is near to come.

Fortunately, I do not think I have gone through something as disturbing and unsavory as being a scam victim, many scammers have tried, as usual, but it is easy to outsmart them and quickly realize one is being targeted.
It is not directly related to Bitcoin, but I would like to forget how a friend of mine joined a Ponzi scheme and he was completely unaware of it to the point of even suggesting me to join in as an "investing opportunity". In the end I had to tell him he was going to lose all his "invested capital" if he did not got out of it as soon as possible.
It is something I would love to forget because, even though I learnt from it, it was something which disturbed me for a while.
Taught me even people who I consider to be mature and inteligent can fall victim of the most obvious scams on the internet. As expected, the scammer used Tether to commit their massive theft.

TBH, it's hard for me to think of something that I want to forget.
I didn't get phished, didn't get scammed that huge money as well, I also made some good investment in the past, and still going good until now.

This isn't Bitcoin related per se, but I guess the fact that I got FOMO'ed when I was starting in trading is the one that I want to forget... or not because that taught me an important lesson as well when it comes to trading. I'm pretty sure many here when they are still newbie got FOMO'ed at some point of their investing journey as well. It's normal I guess, but what's important is you learn from that mistake.

Forgetting something that happened to you is kind of hard especially if that "thing" really taught you an important lesson. Whether it would be selling early, or buying things that you don't really need for Bitcoin, to getting scammed or phished.

When I've sold a couple of my bitcoins that I have acquire on the early days for non important things.
Thinking that I'll be able to collect them again and hold it again but then I was wrong because I wasn't able to take them back cheaply.
While I have the profit, yes, made profit with that but I was not happy with the purchase that I have made. A complete regret and mistake.

[Nope]No hype delivers more than hope
I dumped some of my bitcoins a few days after the halving because I was pessimistic about reaching a new ATH. I thought it could save its value, and it turned out to be the wrong decision.

But how could it be forgotten? I am actually happy to have learned this lesson and I will remember it to strengthen my principles as a holder.

I have an "x" or Twitter account dated 2009 and no satoshi from those years, Smiley

Actually, it's not that I'm mortified but they are one of those things that make you reflect, so I always try to take the positive out of that lack of assertiveness during those years, in reality, as I always say, the past is an important reference for your present and future, And for those of us who arrive at the wrong time, it is something that we must remember, opportunities are always there, but we do not see them or we ignore them because of all the "smoke" ...

Whatever memories I have got from Bitcoin is worth memorable so I could handle it as a working tool either for cautiousness sake or energymatic anatomy of Bitcoin.
Else I wish to forget about the first period of time I was introduced to Bitcoin and had doubt about it but that shouldn't be a weigh down to me but serves a gear up.

I have a bad memory about bitcoin, but as a matter of fact i don't want to forget it because it tought me a valuable lesson how to store my bitcoin propely.

So, back in late 2017 (just a few days before Christmas) I fell for a phishing attempt and lost almost everything I had at the moment (it was ~0.1 BTC which for some may not be much but at that point it was a lot for me). When that happened I almost have up on bitcoin all together but after few days I managed to calm myself down and luckily continue my bitcoin journey.

What this experience thought me was that I should use proper wallet to store my bitcoin (read hardware wallet) instead of a shitty online wallet that I used up until then so in a way it was a blessing in disguise as it coul;d have hapepned to me later when I had more bitcoin.

My biggest mistake was not investing in Bitcoin when I first got to know about it. It was in 2017, I got introduced to a ponzi scheme where Bitcoin was used for the investment. I got scammed, I lost my funds and as a result of what happened, I developed a cold feet concerning anything crypto-related. Then, I had the money but I didn't have the knowledge and that sad experience scared me away. It took me some years to buy Bitcoin again and this time around, I've done more research and gained some knowledge.

I would like to forget that I did not start investment in Bitcoin on time, and focus on trying to get more bitcoins now that I can before the halving, knowing that I am late. There are also people like me who have same story, we will be better if we can just forget about when we started. Continuing to think about the time that I have lost and dwelling on it will only make me loose more time, time that I should use in focusing on try to increase what I have.

Back in 2015, when I was first introduced to Bitcoin and complained about the high price of Bitcoin in my opinion, I postponed my Bitcoin investment. Until the 2017 bull run came. As a beginner, there may be times when I want to forget that I had to sell my Bitcoin investments I made during the bull run in a panic when entering the bear market.

It was sad to lose it all, even if I made a small investment in the first place. Looking back now, the crypto market is full of wish for me. But no matter what, I don't regret what I did because I made every decision of my own free will and I'm glad I met Bitcoin. There are still millions of people in the world who don't know about Bitcoin and we could have been one of them. Fortunately, we know about Bitcoin.

I made more good moves than bad. But truthfully I never believed in it from 2012 to 2017 monster rally.

So I could have grabbed 100 coins easy peasy in 2012 or early 2013.

Even if I dumped 50 of them in 2013 nov holding 50 of them I would have cashed for 65k
and if I dumped 25 in dec 2017 I would have cashed for 480k

and if I dumped 15 of them at 69k I would have had 1 million

and still have 10 coins at this moment.

I did not earn 1.545 mill and hold 10 btc. But I would say it could have.

I also did earn 200k and have a lot of gear right now along with some coin.

So I would argue I have  ⅛ of what was possible for me to have done.

But I would have had to believe in BTC back in 2012 more then some mining of it.

Ahh.. I really like such storytelling threads in which we can publicly explore the memories of others, which can be helpful as well in boosting the experience.

Sticking to the topic I would like to say, the Luna crash's impact on the Bitcoin market I would really be happy to remove it from my memory, but I'm thankful as well to have such experience to improve my decision-making power in such a condition, I want to completely remove that crisis from my journey, because there were a lot of things happened after that upset. Socially I've seen Luna bringing disaster in people's financial lives.

I was not too close to the people who got affected by it but from a few close ones I've heard how badly they got trapped & destroyed by their immature decisions. I also lost a little bit of precious Bitcoin holding in FOMO on that time.

Lol! A lot of memories I want to forget! Back in 2015, 16, 17, I had sold a lot of bitcoins at dirt cheap price compared to today's price. At least 6 Bitcoins I had sold back in those days at throw away price. I really regret those decisions. If I had kept those Bitcoins with me, I would have become a rich man today.

I didn't face a lot of scam in my life as I do my own research. But selling out bitcoin in early days, I could have seriously avoided.

I actually remember some mistakes that I made when I was a complete beginner in this cryptocurrency world. First of all I want to forget all those memories especially when I was initially inducted into the world of cryptocurrency with alternative coins I still regret why I didn't recognize Bitcoin in the beginning.
I remember when I first learned about bitcoin in cryptocurrency, bitcoin was around the current price and a few months after that the bullrun started.  I still laugh when I remember when bitcoin was almost at its dip I didn't invest but when bitcoin touched its all time high price I went around it and invested a fair amount even though it was trading purely on emotions.  Since then, the price of Bitcoin has gradually decreased to this price today.  The interesting thing is that I am still bearing that loss and see if there is a bullrun ahead, maybe the loss will be recovered.
