The first word that comes to my mind about Monero is one of those good forgotten coins, nowadays people don't even really care about Monero. Obviously a difference if we go back a few years. Now there are new and potential coins emerging that people are just too enthusiastic about.

A very large number of people are concerned about their online privacy, so they use anonymous coins. And Monero is the best of all anonymous coins. Therefore, even the delisting of coins from centralized exchanges had a temporary effect of reducing the value, which was quickly restored.
Yeah but after the introduction of Grin, I guess monero started biting dust. Because at some point of time, even Theymos started accepting copper membership payments in Grin and forum member started Grin wall observer topic as well. I mean even monero is the highly reputed privacy oriented coin, it is facing heavy competition from other such privacy based coins like Grin.

Some exchanges delisted monero after few governments started concerning about money laundering issues against Monero which must be another reason why right away people need to consider before adopting Monero for investment purposes.

People I've spoken to about Monero they are mostly either very for monero or against never anyone in between.

I personally prefer this over bitcoin as it seems like from what I've read Monero is what bitcoin was supposed to be.

what do you think?
Monero is great for a safe, anonymous way of making money and cannot track transactions. I trust because it's reputable. Monero is outperforming other currencies. In my view, in the future monero will grow no more than bitcoin and will dark the limitations of bitcoin. Give their users the most convenience.

I don't think Monero is what Bitcoin supposed to be because in Bitcoin, everyone can verify the transaction because it is transparent.
You can't do that in Monero, other people can't see your transactions unless they have your keys, which means the coin is not transparent.
But the decentralized aspect of Monero is same as Bitcoin.

That's your visions and everyone of us has a unique ideas on each coins, and for now choosing altcoins instead of bitcoin is a best options. Just trust your instict and pretty sure in the future, it would be rewarding for those who patiently learned to wait and sacrifice their other expenses which suppose to be lost. Yet choosing a promising asset would pay all the debt that stressfully made our lives drowned.

"would pay all the debt that stressfully made our lives drowned" - a very poetic, I would say, or maybe unrealistic. The sentence itself, is somewhat, lacking, considering you mentioned about "choosing a promising asset" would eventually pay the debt that made your life stressful and "drowned". Drowned with what? Sorrow and misery? Poetic indeed like I said earlier. If people prefer Monero over Bitcoin then it is their choice. Monero is a top coin so there were and will be investors that would invest. I am just here to marvel at the coin being discussed at the same time the literary expressions that accompany with it.

in my opinion it is also a good monero token that you mean, but if you compare it to the main coin or bitcoin, it is still very far behind Monero. First, in terms of price, bitcoin is far superior to Monero,
second about its use, Bitcoin is more widely used than monero. therefore I think it is not suitable if Monero is juxtaposed with bitcoin. in my opinion it is like that

Without using Google I can tell you at least 3 companies that already receive Monero as payment : IVPN[2], AirVPN[3] and TorGuard[4]. As a sneak peak I really believe that Mullvad is going to start accepting Monero payments in the near future given this sneaky "like" noticed by a fellow Reddit user[5]:

You can see a bunch of other services that are already embracing Monero here : Merchants & Services

Regarding Mullvad and Monero, their tweet [1] from yesterday is again revealing and they refer to our website [2] + [3] where there are mullvad voucher codes for monero (and bitcoin).

theres only two types of person in this world , one is cryptocoiners and one isnt so if you what youv been ask is cryptocoiner , they will know something about monero and will consider this coin but if not then they will simply ignore this .

I personally prefer this over bitcoin as it seems like from what I've read Monero is what bitcoin was supposed to be.
what do you think?
but what matters is your own choice not them , just continue to use monero because like you i also agree that monero is much better in btc in terms of anonimity and its fees are also lesser when used for transacting however btc is the first coin so its impossible that what it wants is to become monero  . maybe monero wants to become a btc like every other crypto

In my opinion, Monero has a great potential in the future, even though currently Monero is under and underestimated by everyone, but I am sure that it will grow and repeat its heyday in the past 2017-2018, if you believe in monero altcoins then this are the right time to buy the monero, and just waiting for the monero to explode ,

monero has received the best ATH in 2017-2018 although currently the potential for monero is still there, but monero has not indicated when the second ATH will come. if you want to have monero i think this is the best time before monero is in the highest price position

Anything you do hear off online or in other people then always make out some verification for yourself.Study in related to Monero and prove it to yourself if
it was really worth something or not but i do agree on what other people been saying that this project is really very underrated. Its currently cheap on its
current price imho and i do have some feels that this might really rise up in rankings when people do tend to switch up to full anonymity.
We know that bitcoin is pseudo-anonymous but well, the entire community had decided on which one would be mainly supported.

Of course, it's the best coins to hide your transactions and those who want to trace your funds won't be able to do it and this is the best thing about Monero. you can see those people talking good things about it because they've already done some test of how to properly use monero as one of the tools to hide your transaction history. If you have some big amount of bitcoins and you don't want the others to know about it. Then you came to the right place, you came to the Monero which will make things easy for you regarding anonymity of your transactions.

Monero focused on privacy and they remain as good privacy coin for over a years now, this is the real meaning of cryptocurrency, to have a transactions anonymously. Bitcoin on the other side will still allows you to remain private, as long as you don’t deal to any centralized wallet which asked you a KYC most of the time.

There’s a lot of Bitcoin address that we didn’t know who owns it, so I guess it is still Bitcoin for me over Monero but of course if there’s a chance to invest on this two, do it.

Monero is more like what NOOBs thought they got when they buy Monero.  Satoshi made Bitcoin transparent so people understood it easier and developers developed it easier. There are use cases fro both coins. To be against any of them is very silly.

Monero is a good privacy coin but it was never what Bitcoin was suppose to be, there is still no other coin out there that has the network pull of Bitcoin, there is a reason why it has a huge mining power behind it and why Monero is just sitting on fraction of it. For privacy coin, MOnero is the best in my opinion but there are things the team can improved on to make it more acceptable

It used to be a great coin but nowadays people do not really care about that as much as they used to. It is still a great investment, I remember when this was just 10 dollars (there could be people who remember maybe earlier) and it is now over 320 dollars, that is 32x increase and I am sure it would be even more in the future as well.

I just think that we are seeing a lot more high tech projects, Avax, Dot, Link, BNB and many more because ETH started the "be the better blockchain" method and became second so everyone tried to build a great project, I still think it is a great one and I do believe that it will continue to be one in the future as well but I just do not think that Monero would be getting the money it expects from the market, most of the money would go towards projects that look better and have a better blockchain, especially if decentralized.

Monero is a good project for anyone who is fan of a fully anonymous coin. It is bitcoin but with better technology. And it seems that monero is quite underrated due to the existence of ICO, IDO, NFT and other defi projects. So in my opinion, Monero is a good option to hold for a long time. But do not all in your money in to monero, try to separate them in at least 2 parts for safety

I was thinking XMR, ADA, BTC, Aioz Network, Beam privacy.  What do you think Tongue

Definitely the best privacy coin I know, it's a good buy and hold coin if you are planning on investing or not but don't compare monero to bitcoin because bitcoin isn't a privacy coin, that's not what it was built for, privacy and anonymity belongs to monero and other privacy coins
