openai already reigns this field, i could say if the funding aren't that big it could hardly competes, even there are many large corporation getting beaten around by openai and couldn't even compete so I honestly highly doubt any project with rather low funding could strive to be real competition against these pioneer. at best they'd just become supplements for these big AI company.

it might be just a fad, after all the AI presented by openAI itself could already takes up most of the field with little modification that I don't think it left any space for its cryptocurrency version to thrive, moreover the company are eager in having some partnership with other big companies like github, microsoft, and many more which I think add to the fact that they've got massive marketing beforehand for free, in which definitely gonna make their platform mainstream.

Many companies have already used bots and I see it was more helpful for them to lessen manpower designated for answering queries, they don't need someone to work 24/7. The idea of having AI is worth enough and this ChatGPT is gaining much attention and it performs so well. I believe this kind of development brings something more advance and less hassle to the company and I believe this would encourage more companies to use AI in the coming days. I think addressing the issue of AI is making a big difference to society, but in this market the field of AI is not so prominent. I know of some projects that have been developing and pursuing AI for a long time, but to be honest it's pretty primitive. And with some hype surrounding this trend, developers also take advantage of that to attract investor curiosity. Personally, I find that without the ability to research, a field of abuse and hype will always appear, people need to be wary of projects that only follow trends and have no capacity product development.

If my memory is not wrong AI related coins have been around since the 2017 bull run, and maybe even before it, and they were unable to get any success as the community was not interested on them, however with the advent of ChatGPT this has changed and suddenly not only the community but the whole world is very interested in AI all of a sudden, however I do not think those projects will get too much success as they are just hype and nothing more. The technology itself is interesting and helps in some areas. I created pictures and tried to write articles, but I didn't really like it. Because when I write an article myself, I study the project and understand more what it is. For crypto, I can’t say with certainty whether this is positive or not. It's big because it's the only thing making waves so far. Who knows, there might be a bigger one at the end of the year. There's a possibility AI projects are indeed using AIs since afaik chatgpt itself is available for public use so they can build off of that, but then again, what's the use if you can just stick with chatgpt itself. And with plugins feature, just wait for a curious dev or two and you might have what you already need, for free
Still I wouldn't push them down much, especially projects made later on since they'd probably have more reliability in terms of using actual AI, most recent projects are imo just hype ones.

It is clear that we all see how AI is affecting our lives and many different areas of work. As for the crypto market, I have observed a number of development projects building core technology related to AI, but honestly I think it's too early to tell what potential they have. But I find it very useful to use some AI tools to analyze the market as well as the price, it is quite interesting for me at the moment. There is nothing much of utility that cryptocurrency could incorporate into AI. Even if the project itself is focusing to build AI-related technology, I doubt there will be an essential role that crypto can do. On another hand, you have known that the project you are looking upon is, by no means, does not inform any AI project information that they claim to be. So it is very certain that those projects is very likely only do it as publicity, hype, or maybe a mere scam.
They are going to be riding the pump of the AIs until the bull market is over and then they'd turn to scam after it.
It is however a solid project if they really can come up with the AI and hardware combined to create a robot that could serve the people. And then the Token might just have their case to pay for these robots to do a job. That might just make the project a top level that Elon will oppose again.
Yep The recent AI hype has nothing to do with cryptocurrency and that is what those projects exploit. Though note as I have already stated, the example you gave, robot and payment mechanism, can simply be solved without any blockchain or token, there is no significant utility that it could give. If we analyze what drives AI hype, nowadays, is a mainly for-profit company that builds an awesome product and offers the flexibility to build something on top of the program. That is zero utility and contribution that cryptocurrency projects have or could provide on AI development, especially recently.
