i seldom gamble but if i do, it is just for fun and not for profit. because gambling for me is just amusement and if do it to gain profit then definitely i ended up one of those whose homeless.
Majority of times I play for fun with an small amount which I can afford to loose and most of the times I end up loosing but its fun to gamble and the time between winning and loosing is the most crucial one which excites me the most but there are sometimes when I am in badly need of money and at that time I play for making profits by taking a risk of gambling with higher amount.
This is really the right way to gamble - to just play for fun with the money that we can afford to lose and we never mind what the outcome would be. The thing with gambling aiming for profit is that, whenever you lose, you lose big because you want high profit and you can do that by betting high or choosing low chance to win in order to win big.

yes maybe if the gambling is done with the purpose of having fun then there will be no regret or disappointment despite the defeat, because we know the risk of gambling lose and may be more concern if someone has gambling addiction.

When I was new in gambling I always think positive that I can make money but losing is a hard experience and I do not want to do the same mistakes again.

At first, it's really for fun even if you lose or win but when you won a big amount in the middle of your play, everything becomes serious and you play it now for profit.

but for some people who don't care anymore about how much they lost because of gambling (as long as you can afford to lose it) they will remain have fun with the game and it was not easy indeed to let your money gone like that.
and that is really rare to see someone can really do it , mostly those people who have too much money (rich guy) who gamble for the sake of entertainment and want to show off his wealth only through gambling. weird indeed but there is people who did it.

When someone say having fun that means they are really having fun . Some people dont know about this because they think everyone is the same, everyone is just playing for profit. That is how it is supposed to be. There is should be no gambler that think that gambling is something we can profit from. Gambling was actually invented for a past time. It is the business of the casino to profit from gambling activities of gamblers. Then you also have to consider the house edge, that is pretty much a big factor that would tell you that any gambler is not intended to profit from gambling since the odds are quite against the gamblers.
Do you gamble for fun or for profit?
We usualy gamble for profit, we tend to look the easiest way to gain money while having fun, unlike our usual way of earning like our day jobs is kinda boring. Now, at the end of the day when you win or breakeven, you can say it is fun. But, its not fun when you lose your bet lol. For some individuals gambling is fun for them specialy when their cash are overflowing and they find it nothing to do with their money.
Profit is the most reason why most of us here on this forum are playing gambling, but instead of having profits we are losing our money, it is so tragic, that is why some of the gamblers are saying that they gamble just for fun for them not to think too much about the loses they have in gambling. So, if you guys are always after the profits, then it is time for you to quit gambling and think of something else where you could really have profits.
Those that don't play for profit need to examine themselves because it doesn't look normal to me to waste your money for fun, maybe they have addiction and they are trying to justify their defeats with fun.
We can't blame those rich people that are just gambling for fun. They can do whatever they want as it is their money, we are even having fun with anything that we want as long as we will gonna use our own money. Not all are for the profit and others are just for chit chat while gambling.
