I don't think it's proper to call a waste of money when you are having fun, that is why there are two purpose which are to gamble for fun or for profit, that two has really a big difference. Now, if you gamble for fun then simply you will be happy regardless of the outcome of the game.

I think most people start gambling for profit, so right after they realize it's possible to have some fun in it. Because their aim now is to recover their losses and aiming for profit is the hardest part of gambling. Yes in the start only rich people were able to gamble and for poor it was much hard but now you know that in online gambling you can gamble with a smaller amount of your money which is even affordable by poor people so now even poor can gamble for fun and I will say it is a better source of entertainment for poors because it is now much cheaper way of fun.

I wont say it is a better source of entertainment. Usually for the poor, they dont even have any disposable cash in the first place so they should not have the ability to go and gamble. They are using money that they cant afford to lose.

stop gamble immediately and save your winning would never work if you have a plan to gamble regularly in the long term. all your previous winning would just burn dissapeared slowly as you would never win against the house edge in the end. for profit or fun would have a same result in the end.

If you know it well that with gambling you have a chance to lose and know well that it is the most risky plan to earn money and you are in a position that you need money then it was your wrong decision to gamble for profit you have to choose for another way of earning money where there will be n any high risk and after that when you will sufficient with money then you have to think about gambling.

Gambling for profit is almost everyone's purpose for playing but if we are going to make it a reason of why we are gambling then we will be expecting more. And once we are experiencing losing that will give us frustration but if we will simply make gambling as a habit to entertain ourselves if we lose then we lose nothing because we are having fun.

Once you're hooked you won't be able to save, gambling for profit is a bad idea. i used to gamble for profit and i payed a huge price to stop/control gambling habit.
