I am not a gambler, but I believe it is for both reasons, even though I don't believe that's an efficient option for profits.
My main target on gambling is always for profit, but when i already win much money and reach my target, sometimes i gamble just for fun. If i win the profit is like a bonus and when i lose, i'm okay, because it's for fun.
I gamble for fun mostly, I play poker so there is a chance that if I become really good I could see some profit but right now I am not at that level.
Poker is wonderful way to have fun there, that is true it's very profitable for skilled players and if we play more in our spare time than we can increase our skill and chance to make guaranteed profit by playing poker.
Well if you are really going to make gamble as source of your entertainment I would say that you must be able to control yourself and as well as your pocket. Because once you are already enjoying playing gambling you won't notice when you are losing already. You are not going to care for your money because you are already enjoying.

So, gambling for profit, its good that you are currently in profit with your gambling activity but remember you will not find a single user here who has made any profit from gambling here, so beware that stopping gambling while in profit is the best idea though its difficult to stop when winning. I will wait and see you after 6 months

i only gamble on offline, i am not trying to gamble for online. sometimes i gamble for make money but the other times, i am doing gamble for fun and its really fun when i gamble with my friends.
but to me there is no fun in gambling with out involving money, we can enjoy gambling only if we are earning money and if we are not making money and just loosing it then there is no fun in gambling, actually gambling is a game of money and if you chance the nature of a game then there remain not fun in it.

Both i gamble for fun and the same time i gamble because of the profit i get ,playing gamble for me is not boored at all where i can get easily money when i playing always at my smart strategy i never lost profit there where i can easily double my money and withdraw thats it easy life easy money

But if you gamble online like those dice sites then luck is your only chance to win and it seems impossible i think because the house is controlling your game.
If you are not into gambling to make a profit then something is seriously wrong with you or you are just lying to yourself into thinking it is fun.
Where there is a chance of losing money is involved I doubt anyone would seriously say "That is Fun!"

if you are gambling everyday without any pause then you are an addict regardless of you losing money or not. because no normal person in the world has enough time for fun of gambling and never enough money to always keep having the fun of gambling and he is fooling himself if he does it every single day.
yeah I think it depends on what kind of gambling you're engaging yourself into. like for poker, it doesn't really rely on blind luck as you need to know how to play your cards so experience is very advantageous. a lot of very experienced poker players are actually playing for profit
