I gamble for profit, I don't know or maybe it is just me, for me a gamble is another kind of serious stuff , where you need to be serious and disciplined. You know when to enter and to exit. That is because if you were drawned by fun it can cost your family a living. So I think that kind of attitude in me somehow my defence mechanism to at least put the lost on its minimal.

I always gamble for fun but when you gamble you always think with the midset of winning that is just how it is. But when I lose I make a big deal about because i know what could happen. That is how you should gamble.
not everyone has so much time to gamble. There are occasional gamblers like me for example, i gamble only let's say once/twice a week actively like playing poker/roulette and more often i prefer passive type of gambling like betting on sports. Yes maybe gambling just to have fun and not to get bitcoin. Because bitcoin is a game so it can only be used for the having fun and not to make a profit because it was very difficult to profit from gambling.

Exactly I have the same perception. Gambling is for fun and who knows you might get lucky. Gambling for profit !!! never. I gamble when I have extra money that I would spend it easily. I don't want to spend my cash on gambling. It is more of a loss and rarely profit hahahahaa. Though gambling can be addictive but it's mostly for fun.Sometime I feel also that I a already addictive in gambling but when I actually stop the game I am thinking that don't do it again cause I just loosing my money from playing it. There is no fun in gambling man , I am in gambling to get some profit on my money which I put at stake. This is different thing that I don't always ended up at profit but main reason of placing bet is making profit. When I want to have fun just try in minimum bets to enjoy and entertain myself by winning more bets and loosing less. This is my way of making fun in gambling.
In the beginning days, i played gambling to make a profit. But after losing too many bets, i realise that there is no advantage in gambling. So now I am playing it for my fun. So I fix one amount for my fun if it crossed I will stop my betting.

i think its balance,between people who playing gambling for profit and for fun, i see many people comment that they are playing for fun,and also some people play for profit,but actually i never think people just want to get fun in gambling,better they playing other game if they want to make fun. i used to do some gamble for both fun and profit, but after some try it turn out to be not so much fun and profit so i quit and never come back.
yeah, im gambling for both right now too, gambling usually gives me high quality entertainment for small cost as i play only from small sums of money right now, i hope i will never lose a lotright now you are playing only with small sums of money and just hope to never lose a lot, you can't consider yourself playing for profit, just fun only. but nothing's wrong with it, it's good.

that behavious only stems from the greed that every people have and it is actually a lot bigger in gamblers who are trying to win more money so when they lose this gree of theirs becomes more thus leading to losing more.

but for me i do gambling mostly for fun and a little bit for profit. actually i have limited my profit and lose to a certain limit and when i reached to this limit i stop gambling. i can book lost up the point that i can afford. similarly i have fixed the profit that when i reached to certain limit while winning i then stop gambling any more and the reason is that i know the winning make person more greedy and he then trying to get more more in turn he lost his own money. to be honest , actually before the main reason why i am going to gambling because i want to earn bitcoin and i am really desperate to have even a 0.001 or 0.01 satoshi until i have learned that gambling is not actually a good way to earn but just for fun so it became a new reason why i am going to gambling sometimes .

When i am new at bitcoin i gamble for profit because i think it is the most profitable way to earn but i am wrong about it, i just lost many bitcoins that i didn't expect. But now i just gamble for fun. And switch to trading altcoin trading to earn more bitcoin, and i wish that i know it early than gambling and just use what i lost from gambling to trading but i don't regret that i lost some bitcoin because it taught me that gambling is not the right way to earn bitcoin.

while i agree with you but a lot of the fun in gambling is the gambling itself. i mean if the winning was the only thing gamblers were looking for, a lot of them (like your example who leaves the casino with no smile on his face) would have given up on gambling a long time ago.
but you see the fun is in the risk you take while you gamble and the thrill that you experience while doing this and if it leads to a win then it doubles the fun but if not it is still fun playing it.
