I will advice you to be sure on most Apps you get on Google Play store or Apple iOS store, most trading apps are scam and once they get your private key or what so ever details you give them regarding to your trading account with some funds inside. You are doom. In my own opinion I have make used of (Tabtrader app) and it very simple to use. Search this App on Google Play store and get the taste of it.
Additional risk if hackers able to penetrate your account, your investment/assets will be sucked and the next thing that you know you already out of balance, make sure to do your research before trying or using any apps it's best to do this practice in order to make sure the safeness of your investment.
Those available applications are good if you use it the right ways and if the apps serves its real usages.
I use TabTrader. I like that I can trade on multiple exchanges in the same app. For security, specify only trade in the settings.

I'm just confused about this thread.
If you mean the trading exchange, I would go for Binance.
But the trading "app" is maybe an IOS/Andriod application using to trade crypto currencies in this case I would never use any application and go straight to the official website. I recommend you do the same. The app won't change anything, It's all about your skills

Sahh!!

There are so many recommendations on this thread that if OP starts to read each and every of them then he/she will again end up having more confusion.  Shocked
I have read such threads many times and always seen everyone does have their own opinion OR they are comfortable with specific platform/service.

@OP you should really try random apps and also the most used one. May be you will find your own cozy platform that might not have been suggested here.  Smiley

In fact many trading applications as mentioned by the users above.  But in my opinion every trade that requires a trader to use the application, it's better to use the application than the exchange itself.  Like the Binance application, Poloniex etc.
And use third party applications only for analysis such as Tabtrader, Coinigy, TradingView etc.

My trading app is Tabtrader, it deals with reading of charts and analysing it as well it the basic indicators one needs to make use of with it you can as well monitor the market prices of every coin, if you have a binance, bittrex trading account you can link it to the app an make use of it.

I am not sure actually what OP did mean by trading app. Maybe The user wanted to know about all essential apps which helps to do better trade. So it could be a tracker, exchange, news app etc. So generally what I am using...

Exchange apps
1. Binance
2. Coinbase
3. Kucoin
These are my very essential exchange application. But some more also I use but not for all time. When I need it I install it.

Tracker/portfolio
Blockfolio android app( previously used)
Coinmarketcap app
Trading view
Delta etc.

Wallets

Electrum
Trust wallet
Coinomi

So it depends on the need.  You can choose one of them if you think helpful.

I mainly trade on Binance and use their application as the main trading platform, but there are no alerts in the application, which complicates the work with assets.
Therefore, in addition, I use several more applications such as a blockfolio to control the level of my assets, and a table trailer to control my assets through a flexible local alerts system.

The term trading app is a very wide scope. However, the literal answer that i think suit your question is apps which are connected to exchange where you can easily trade without going through web. Virtually every exchange is having Mobile App for both IOS and Android OS, and the interesting part of it all is that these apps are incorporated with other management tools such as smart alert that gives instant market updates to keep every trader updated.

Although there many standalone apps that offers full management tools such as alert system, trading charts, market updates, full portfolio tool as well view orderbook amd connect your exchange account. Example of these apps are : Delta and Blockfolio
And it helps every trader to keep track of their portfolio even just the use of their smartphones. This kind of exchange integration and development will also be helping to promote their project and its popularity. But I'd never know if they still using their phones with these apps to trade coz on me, I'm not comfortable of doing it and one disadvantage of using a phone to trade is of having a possible wrong input. For some cases that it happen already and sadly it turns into big losses brought them into regrets.

Personally, I use Trading-view and Coinbase to stay up to date. Staying alert on the internet is the best trait a person can have. People might say there are lots of trading apps out there, just use any of them. But that shouldn't be the case. Always check the reviews of the app and make sure it has enough downloads and try to even look up the Developer who made it and their reputation.

Honestly speaking I don't use trading apps. Because most of it are not safe based on my understanding about it.
Instead, I rather like to used exchange in the website on my pc/desktop or laptop. In fact, I've been doing this for a couple
of years now actually.
It depends on a person which application he can use if through mobile or desktop. Actually, I'm using binance exchange through a laptop because I find it more accessible and easy to access. Many applications are there better to use trading apps which you preferred and you are more comfortable with when trading.

Heya, the thing is that there are so many crypto apps that people use that would make it quite difficult for you to choose and pick but you should know which one suits your needs better Smiley
The list can be overwhelming so thus I'll provided you with an article which lists some common and some less common ones that people often use, you can read about them here: https://themoneymongers.com/best-cryptocurrency-trading-apps/

Alternatively, if you just want an app with lots of different platforms that you can then choose which one to trade on, depending on your currency bestchange may also be a start   Huh
They have over 300 verified platforms in one place. Anyways, I hope my response together with that of others will help you choose whichever one you think is best for you!

Best of luck Smiley

Just be careful when you are about to choose a "trading app". Not just trading app, any kind of application you might download, bears some risks. I have seen many people suggesting random applications that you can use. Make sure you check their reviews people you download them. Even if you download them officially from a store, this doesn't mean that the app does not contains anything malicious.
JUST A FRIENDLY REMINDER GUYS! ! !
The trading industry has been booming for a couple of years now, scammers are getting rid of the old security and come up with fake and fraud application that contains harmful software to your devices. There are many cases that person's private information are being harvested due to unknown reason, this is might be the unsafe browsing to the internet or downloading some contents.

I have heard google and apple deletes thousands of apps every month because of those apps being "unsafe". Same goes for those random wallets people are suggesting on this thread.
This is true. Google now is strict with applications approval since there are cases reported.

I mostly use CoinDeal (https://coindeal.com/) or its mobile app. This is the best option in my opinion because it woks fine, I've never had any problems with that platform. CoinDeal's app is perfect for daily trading, that's for sure. But I prefer to use the "normal" version of any cryptocurrency exchange, it is so much safer to use a computer version of exchange than a mobile app.

I am using cex.bro. Here is a link for a case if you have never heard of it – https://cexbro.com/. It is a new place, so, obviously, I’ve just started to trade there. For me, it is the only place that offers margin trading without being inconvenient to use.
