I learn about altcoins in top 20 and choose some coins that has the highest potential and I think it can give me the most profit (its price can increase 10 times or even more). I will wait until its price falls down at very low to buy them and wait until it increase around 4 - 5 times, I will sell a half. If it continue increase and hit 10 times, I will sell more 25% and keep the rest for a long term
Don't buy the whole coin at a single price and don't panic when the price goes down just wait if the price goes down then buy more coins as much as you can these strategy will average the whole buying of your coin and then wait for price high and you get more profit from this instead buying at single price. 
i dont thinking about trading was a want to do buy eth as much i can and hold. it will raise some day. and spend it to my rest of my life, trade a few of them to promising altcoin
I trade both for long term and short term but if i am to trade based on short term, my trading plan is to buy when i see red candles and to sell when i see green candles. These has helped me a lot since i started crypto these year
I am going to hold my cryptocurrencies till thier price will not be highest in its development, so it will be very hard to predict and for so long to wait, but I am ready.

It depends on the equivalent price of the token your holding. When you see that the token your holding in the right price so just go to short term tactics before anything change because of its unstable price. About long this is also great specially when the token you have is in deep price, that the time you hold it so when it bounce back the unspected profits will received.
I think choosing cheap altcoin is a wise thing because it would be very risky to invest in altcoin in large quantities, small but surely that is the best way in my opinion.

while the market is falling - I trade in the market and play on the difference in the maximum and minimum price of altcoins. this is my plan until the market stops falling.

just simple.buy it if the price is decreasing. and sell it if it has made a profit.
if not I will hold it and if it is bigger in another market, I will arbitrate to a market that has a price more than the market we buy.
