I prefer long-term HODL and keep an amount of bitcoins for trading, while I get my profits I will keep 50% and again trade up and its depend on the situation if there any crisis we can survive that through a real money management
Each successful trader must be flexible and be able to adjust to the market. For example, you bought a coin in order to keep a few years, but there was totally bad news on this coin. In this situation you must make an important decision and be able to exit without loss or with minimal losses. You will be a successful person if you can make correct decisions.
My plan is simple enough. I will not withdraw the invested money until the crypt is recognized as an international currency. Then the biggest jump will happen 
That seem to be a rpofitable and wise strategy.
But I see one possible disadvantage here. The chosen crypt can fail entering exchanges and being recognized as an international currency.
I think that investor sometimes must check the status and progress of the crypt and sell that if it shows many signs of possible failure.

I divide my investment in two category, trade-able and non trade-able assets. non-trade-able assets are for long term and trade able asset are for daily trading. so I know technical and increase my asset then my profit saved in long term category.

My trading plan has always been to trade as much coins as I can. One the keys in becoming successful in trading is increasing the probability of earning, and we can do that by investing on more coins to trade. We should have at least three to five kinds of coins, so when one fails or loses it's value, we can wait and focus more on other coins that we hold.

My investment looks simple, Holds what is safe and has potential in the future. Profiting profits with new altcoins creates a familiar propensity to target like Doge, Ripple, Dash which can make a breakthrough in the near future. ICO is also a long-term idea of quality. I've prefer for long term if o have enough money because the price of crypto coins was always increasing.But If i dont have enough money so i prefered to sell it to sustained my daily need.Its depend upon us and i know we have a freedom to choose what is the best strategy we can make to increse our profits.
Its simple. Buy at low then sell when the price reaches 2-3%. This is for the short term and this is the one that I am using always. I get profit every time I trade. I am not too greedy that I want its price to become higher. I simply diversify my portfolio. I am using indicators like RSI and MACD too to help me in trading.
people vary depending on themselves if I depend on the market if the trade should always see the market can be said short-term trading even though the result is a little but so long into the hill

For a short term, i use to sell all coins if the coins marked green raise to 5% to earn a little bit profits, then buy coins if the coins marked red drop to 5% or more., then hold until i can earn enough profit.
My trading plan is long term period. This market always improve itself to rise in all the world. The all World understood that BlockChain can create new social life, new balance, more freedom so This market will rise and grow in a every day so prices sometimes decrease but you believe that always gain more profit than it.
Profit is profit, be ambitious, but be honest with yourself. Not everything is a 10x.

buy in cheap price, sell in high price, what else? 
j/k, i think it is better to see which one is support or look the chart. it is not in what coin that we buy but in what price is good to buy. in short term, it is good to know if the price must not really high and not really low.
I do short term and long term trading both. I buy good fundamental altcoins for long term and do short term trading in volatile altcoins. I buy at every dip which continue for 2-3 days and then sell them with a fixed target of profit when market comes out of it and start rising.
My plan earn btc from bounty, get airdrops and buy for them perspective alts on correction.
I have plans to trade on altcoins named NXT, IGNIS, TEN, XLM, and XRP. because the price is cheap so do not need high capital to get a lot of tokens.
My plan is to take some profits and hold most for long term. Risk is necessary if you don't want to FOMO later on.

Since today 23 feb the price deep for crypto currency then my strategy would buy as many as i could and then i will hold it until the price return to the stable price and then i would sell it, its my plan for short term. And for my long term i will buy my profit to etherum or bitcoin and i will keep it as my investment.because that two quick rise and have a stable prices! 
I have a trade plan for every trade i entered. 1. I normally use stop loss and takeprofit. 2. I do not revenge trade once my target is hit whether negative or positive iam off. 3. I have time frame to trade. and i combine both technical and fundamental analysis to make my decisions before entering a trade.

In trading we always consider the word profit. The main key is how to gain profit? Very common question for new investor. In my experience I always jump in to profits greater than 30percent. Gains is my bottom line. It is not how much but how constant and consistent I gain from it.
