The reason for a person to return back to gambling is pretty simple, first they return because they might have lost lot of money and they return back daily or maybe stop for a while and return after few months to cover up the loses and because of that the output is simple they keep on building up their loses and the time they realise it's too late.
Want to always win is the natural properties of human. Besides that, I think have a bad self-control is the factor too and people who like that certainly gambling addict.
I personally always have a mind when I gamble, use a money which I can afford to lose and gambling is just for fun.
