I usually prefer Mission Games on my PC as well as in play station.
I like the games I used to like 10 years ago at least for the nostalgia, mostly old school strategy games

I love first shooter games and games with roam style of gameplay. From the first shooter type of games my favorite are Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Crysis, and Far Cry. But my most favorite games are the games with roam style of gameplay like Grand Theft Auto, Saints Row, and Sleeping Dogs.

GTA all the versions so far so good 
GTA V took it above and beyond though gta IV had a massive map but gta v I havent explored it all yet and I love that.

Open world and something which you dont need to follow the story and there is a lot of little details for example, fallout, elder scrolls and mount and blade warband
No specified game in mind but I prefer strategy games in general. If I were to really say one, it would be Dota.
