For bitcoin usage you may go with the Electrum, Multibit and Bitcore wallet. If you wish to better security than anyone hardware wallets are helpful in that.
To save the ERC20 tokens best option for that is MyEtherWallet none of the other wallet will be helpful for you in that. Some Jaxx can be a good one.

If you have the online wallet also no problem but please enable 2FA and keep logging into the wallet with the perfect URL. If you miss to logging in perfectly and going with google search you will find the trouble for sure.

Legder nano S is a genius and I would recommend it because it is a hardware wallet, you use a pin code to authenticate your transactions and moreover, you can walk around with it knowing your coins/tokens are safe.

Genius as it is but the same with other hardware wallets, they are all effective and this is why I prefer Ledger Nano S because I have used it while others, I haven't encountered to use any of them.

But maybe my preferred wallet will change if I'll have the chance to use and experience other hardware wallets such as Trezor.

By reading those people who have used it, I can't say a thing about it. Most of them are happy with Trezor and IMO, it's just the same as Ledger Nano S in terms of security.

There are so many types of cryptowallet in the web. And as a personal thought i prefer to use the MEW, especially that i have an ETH based tokens. But if you want more security and holding your precious token for a long time rather use the hardware wallet.

The best wallet to use for me would be these hard wallets, although they cost a little but it is worth it and very safe. Try trezor or ledger if you have some extra cash with you to buy these wallets but if you don't have the budget to buy these yet then it would be best for you to just use some exchange and make sure to place a 2fa or some authentication for safety purposes.

Well of course it all depends on what you want to do. If you're just holding POW coins than a trusted multi-wallet is the way to go. I personally use JAXX for these type of coins.

For ETH based tokens and ETH itself, MEW is the way to go. I recommend the local "offline" MEW.

For POS coins you are always better off using the official wallet so you can claim your stakes from holding your own coins. Do NOT trust a third party website or discord/telegram for POS coins. It's a good way to get scammed super easy, take a look at the coinsmarkets fiasco.

official wallet is the best choice, but you can also try electrum and if you want to hold in long term then I suggest to use hardware wallet.

The private keys are more safer than the 2 factor authentication so if your picking a wallet with private key access then it can be the best wallet,there are lots of multi coins wallets are available but hardware wallets are most secured so buy a trezor or ledger nano s and it will cost you less than $100 but your funds will be safe forever.

Private keys arent safe and usually not recomended by mew website or any other people because it is easier to hack or get phishesd. 2fa is a good additional security aside from password and pin but i dont rather used it on my case , due to the fact that i do not have any big balances on my wallet. I agree that hardware wallet is also the best when it comes to solid security when storing and protetecting our coins.

I will also suggest popular wallets like electrum , blockchain and coinbase if you wanted to store btc but when it come to eth or erc20 , then i suggest mew or myetherwallet.

I use MEW, it is an excellent wallet with a huge amount of tokens, it is quite safe and has a huge functionality, I think this is the most popular wallet for tokens
