My worst decision is investing on uknown cryptocurrency or not knowing its roadmaps ,projects and plan . I invested in the shitcoins or scam coins as other traders called it. I trade for almost 1 year and badly lost my big investments .Now i learned from it and continue trading without confusing and afraiding that i might lose in my investments.

If the loss is just about 50% then don't consider as worst loss. That's the time it will test how good you are handling your portfolios. Don't ever sold during bearish market. It's like selling thru dips instead of buying it.

People have an option to buy again at those dips and just hold those who coins who are already on reds. Somehow even it will not reached again their selling rate at least closer than that. Patience is always the key.

I became too greedy im verge, bought at 110 and could've sell at 220-240. Got to greedy and now the price is about 140. Still profit but a lot less than before.

This keeps on happening to me also even though i've been trading for quite some time now. I think a worse thing to do here is to let that regret affect your other trading decisions. I've realized that i won't be able to hit the max exit point all he time so as long as i profit, i'm cool with it. There's always a next time anyways.

If I go wrong because it is still new in trading, when I was wrong to see and read the MACD chart should I sell instead of buying, I was buying high prices within 5 minutes direct price dropped dramatically.

How did your trading experience make the worst decisions?

It's when I didn't do long term trading. Ever since, I used to do short trading which is less profitabl but less risky. However, I have waste the opporunity to multiply my money in such altcoins that multplied upto ×70 already. Thus, I'm doing both styles of trading.

MACD is really a good technical tool but it wont work anytime here on this cryptoworld. We do have really in common mistakes for us traders. My worst decision to make is when i do make a panic sell when i saw the coins i bought was dropping and i dont have dont choice but to cut losses,i know it sucks but this thing is really common among newbie traders.

The worst decisions i made is when i was sell my 500,000 XBY in 14 Satoshi = . Then after a couple of days XBY started to pump up to 100 sats.
That time i say to my self your idiot singwala. i watch XBY everyday and day by day i see the price go high and high ! up to 1,500 sats

That happens to everyone once in a while if you are a trader, the most important thing is to stop thinking about that and concentrate to make as much money in your future trades.
Yes, we can see many traders are making some silly mistakes which are common for almost all the traders still they are worrying and giving more weight like it is their life changing mistakes and what I do understand from this, is if they are not focusing  back to trading then they will keep on repeating these types of mistakes in future trading too. It will be very dangerous for the progress in trading.

We need to classify what are the mistakes should be avoided and what are the mistakes could be neglected. Based on this classification we need to react accordingly.

I do sometimes like this. When the price goes so up and passes to up bolinger band, i sell it thinking that price will go down and i ll buy again after price drops. But mostly it doesnt drops nowadays but increases more and more, and then i start to panic and buy from very up. This time price starts to drop  Grin It happens many times especially for last a few months  Grin

That's the problem in selling altcoins without any basis but getting tired of waiting but it's nor really great to blame yourself. To avoid that regrets, I always tend checking its resistance and support so I can know if the coin that I'm holding has a potential to pump.

How did your trading experience make the worst decisions?

The wrong decision I have ever made in trading crypto currency was when I bought a currency that I know nothing about (DGB). I bought this currency when the market volume was around 40,000 and market trend was -13 . It took the currency three good days to move to -30 against my position, and I have to remain in the market maybe it will move in my favor but to know avail. But when the market later move in my favor to -3 almost to positive direction, the market volume has reduces from 40,000  to 16,000, so despite the fact that the market has moved in my favor but I was still loosing my Satoshi from 1,175,000 to 761,000 . Then I now decided that I need to sell before something else will happen to my Satoshi and never to trade any currency that I know nothing about again. This is my story.

I always regret selling my btc because they always rise after me selling.  Angry
That's funny, it's like you are always making the same mistake again, what do you get in selling? is it profit right?
No problem in selling if you need to cash out but if you want bitcoin as your long term investment, you should be willing to hold longer as it is where
you get the best ROI in the long run.
It is not a mistake nor funny but it is just a part of every trader's life. No one will be capable of predicting accurately all the times. Moreover selling bitcoins at any prices will make any trader regretting one day or other. Because bitcoin is in up surge mode in its all life time so far and we can be sure this trend will continue for another century too. So, selling bitcoins and regretting for not at right prices may persist with any trader even in upcoming years too.

In my opinion we should not bother about price levels after exiting a positions. But we should bother about booking profits for one particular trade and should focus on making profits with next trade, that's all.

Well you'd have to sell those btcs evemtually one time or another ao i think if you were comfortable during the timw you sold it and if you've profitted from it already, i don't think its a mistake anymore. Try to start again. But btc and then hold on to them again and qait for a time when you've profitted and you're comfortable

My worst decisions were usually selling BTCs I had to USD.... although I made some really nice returns few times, if I never sold my BTCs I would be very very very rich now  Roll Eyes
You are still not that late, make an effort to get as much bitcoin as you can, but I will admit that if got early in bitcoin and sold only to find out the incredible growth of bitcoin I will be disappointed as well, but there is no point looking at the past, make an effort to at least get an early retirement with bitcoin.

the worst decision that anyone can make when trading is to follow what others do.
and it gets worse when you are trading altcoins and have not that much experience in trading. and i see this every day when newbies come in and want to try trading and since they don't know what to do, they just follow others. find twitter posts, telegram groups, pump groups, etc and fall for their scam and waste their money because none of what any of them tells them is useful.

It`s not easy to find right person to follow, but this is the same like when you follow some tipster in sport betting. It`s never smart to follow someone just like that, without checking his trading history, how much money he made or lost, and not every trader have statistic about his work. Best results are from comparing what different traders/tipsters think about the same thing, if you see the concurrence in their predictions then act, if you see that everyone thinks different find other coin to trade with or wait more.
This is why I am not in favour of following someone in trading.
In trading you need to accumulate form as much people as you can and then it depends upon your skills to recognize the experienced and the competent one of those and then work yourself on the currency that you want to invest in.

But only invest in it after you are done with the study and research work properly. This will enable you to find the right person for the advice and the right currency to invest in.
