I'm not very interested in European languages like German or French, or whatever, as I think languages like Chinese and Japanese are more promising and rewarding in terms of both usage and money in the nearest future. Personally, I'm more inclined toward Japanese (that's why I'm not decided yet), though I understand that Chinese may be a better choice for the time being and years to come

So what is your opinion on this matter from an economic point of view, with crypto in mind?

I think that no need to learn another language than English. The crypto currency world is global, and the international community should speak one language. I know that your mother language is russian, and you are very active in the local forum. Also you speak English very good. It is enough, with crypto in mind.

I would say that either Mandarin or Japanese is good enough.
China is a superpower country and it progresses well with its technology and economy. Even though it banned cryptocurrencies, they can always change their mind and update their policies. Japan, on the other hand, has really advanced technology and a great potential on its economy as well - not to mention Japan is one of the countries that have most potential on attracting tourists.
Learning a language or two aside from English is an advantage enough so either works fine.

I think the language that we should learn is Chinese as we know that this country is growing fast today and they make many innovations related to the technology and China will become bigger in Asia. after Chinese, we can learn Japanese as the secondary language and we know China and Japan is compete in the technology field so they still make a new innovation for many people in the world. but don't forget that the Korean language is worth to learn too because this country is trying to compete with the China and Japan.

I know some of you would wonder what this topic is doing here, in the Economics section, but since it is in fact an economic question with purely utilitarian goals in mind, I think it is where it should be. This is a serious question and I'm not kidding. If I were you, I would love to learn Spanish because it is widely used in the US and you can easily encounter spanish speakers. But if you'd want to learn a language for the sake of business, I suggest you to learn Cantoneses, yes even though Mandarin has more native speakers,Cantonese is the powerhouse language of the business world. Hongkong and Singapore, which we know as the Asia's main financial hubs have Cantonese as their primary language.

Pretty sure China banned crypto currencies in their country but then again, China is a super power and no matter what other people say well it is. So in the interest of general business, it would be smart to learn mandarin. I'm pretty sure once crypto currencies have become a worldwide sensation, then China would change their mind in their policy.

Well,  we all know that English is one of the common language globally,  but learning other languages would be good but difficult.  Chinese language would be good and Japanese. Since China is getting more powerful, I would study it first before Japanese language.
I would like to study first Japanese language because I want to go in that foreign country that much advance in technology and learn a lot from them and can be apply in my own country. Well English is the international language which you can use wherever you go but it is nice to learn different language and practice it for better communication.

according to me if you are able to learn china, japanese, and european. it's better to do it as best you can, because science is indispensable in future life later
We know that china has the potential to become a superpower country with a very fast growing economy, I think from that point, we should start to learn Mandarin/china language, maybe it will be helpful in the future to see China start doing their business expansion to many countries in the world

I highly recommend Japanese to you since they have technology that other countries does not have specially to cryptocurrency. There culture towards work is also commendable and even their economic status is good. I also loved the way they value ideas even though its exotic. You can even see products that in other countries think that it is stupid but in Japan its highly useful.

China has a large community in every country. they are always grouped into traders in various countries. and their language began to be taken into account because China controlled trade. Many people predict that China will become a super power state beating USA.
Exactly there is more than 1.3 billion china's population not included those who live outside the country. From an economic view, Mandarin and Japanese might be a good choice most people in Japan and China using their official language in any activities rather than English so I think it's a better idea to learn their language, you can get a lot of opportunities if you can master those languages.

That is what I think so. I do love to learn the Japanese language but for future use we must study the Chinese language. It might be so helpful. But, anyway, we can learn as much language as we want. It is much better if we will learn more languages.

Well, it all depends to the place where you deal with in the future. If you will plan to have some business talks with Japanese crypto holders then study japanese language then same to do with the Chinese people. But if I were you, I think much favorable if you'll go with the japanese language because we may already conclude that China do not show strong support in cryptocurrency since they already ban ICOs and there are rumors spreading that their government itself encourage their countrymen to invest in gold and silver ~ therefore, learning chinese language will not become very useful.
