At first I didn't know the cryptocurrency but later friends told me, and my friend had a great vision. So we just played together.
What made me invest in cryptocurrency is because there is a lot of coins that have a future and you can earn a lot of money years from now. Even though there is a lot of bad news about cryptocurrency, it is only because they don't know a lot of things about it. They don't know how good is the team behind the good coins and their project development.
I am a newbie in crypto market. I was listening to the news every day about Bitcoin and ETH, I heard about Bitcoin in late 2012 but did not paid a heed as a lot of people around the world did and are doing still.
In late Oct 2017 when BTC was on it way to making its ATH, curiosity brought me to this world of crypto and as noob I started reading more about Bitcoin, Altcoins, how does market works which are local exchanges etc. I did my 1st Investment into bitcoin of 100 USD to enter into my first ever ICO Electroneum thought it was a good project as a noob though a good marketing team but they are long way ahead to deliver real results, having said this it gave a good return almost 10x on investment and with that initial 100 USD my journey to crypto started and now I am HODLING a dozens of coins since then.
I had only added 150 USD since then to get into a couple of projects when I was running out of some small investments. So with overall 250 USD Investment, my current portfolio stands at a couple of thousand dollars and still a long way to go. Added coins like CPX, DBC, BLZ, elec, nexo, qlc, Seele etc to my portfolio with minimum investment in each ICO.
I have very conservative strategy with a long-term approach, as a newbie, I am still learning basics of this market, making small mistakes, understanding the ways and means to generate wealth, searching long-term projects which can be potential game changer or life-changing investment.
Would love to hear fellow crypto investor about there experience in crypto world and about the learning, strategies they used to generate good returns, how can one go about finding good opportunities to invest into without trading and having long-term approach in mind.

it's nice to hear you're making a profit and progress. I've been around for a long time and the truth is that you need to be very patient and cautious when making the investments, do not go for hype or fud
Actually to be honest my friend forcefully made me to invest in bitcoin first.As i didn't know about this currency so well that's why i was totally against that.But the amount of profit that was generated by that investment was great and i was blown away with that and that made me to invest more and on daily bases.
First of all, it's because of the profit of my dearest friend whom multiplying his money in trading. From that time, I searched a lot of ways in trading, thus I'm currently independent with my profit/loss.
I think it's profitable to invest in cryptocurrency, because blockchain technology is developing rapidly, so there are still many opportunities for the whole industry to develop rapidly.
I have always had the view that technologies will be improved with time. for these reasons then surely technology will also be started to support crypto and crypto made to be great. This certainly make sure to invest in a crypto because hope has a large income in the long period of time.

I agree with what is mentioned. But the bottomline why many people are being hooked into cryptocurrency investment is simply because of the higher and more active market value compared to stocks or other kinds of investment. It is due to the market volatility which gives profit to the investors especially whenever the market is in green marks. The continuous increase tempts the investors to be interested. First contact with crypto I had was back in 2014. Honestly - and this is why I understand skepticism coming from poorly informed people - I thought that bitcoin was a ponzi (wasn't even aware about altcoins). Somehow convinced my cousin to sell his decent btc stash after it had grown significantly. That was poor judgement, pretty safe to say.
Mid 2017, had a bunch of friends that told me to get into crypto, balls to the wall. Started reading more and more, learned a lot. Mostly from mistakes. Got into mining because it was "cool". Could've made a lot more money by just buying coins. Live and learn. I've also adopted a healthy view on the matter of profit and losses: as long as I'm ahead on my initial investment, I do not regret my decisions. No matter how many times over I could've made profit on certain investments.

for the time being I have not invested in crypto yet, but I believe and believe people who have chosen to invest in crypto definitely get a bigger profit despite having to be patient to get the benefits.

For me i feel the reason is because i just want to earn money and the dedication you have makes you keep pushing to invest in crypto because crypto currency is very very unstable which can be a benefit but at the same time be a huge risk.

By the looks of it, seems like you are successful here in crypto and whatever is that you are making you can always continue doing that because here in crypto world there is no recipe for success. Luck seems to be the x-factor when you are investing in an ICO because no matter how hard you research on it, you got no control whether it will succeed or not. Invested in cryptocurrency coin is all about profits, we all know that many people already became a millionaire because of cryptocurrency business, by investing large capital, but investing cryptocurrency is not easy way of earning income, it needs high knowledge and strategy in order to earn income and avoid several losses.
I have only one answer why i invest in crypto currenc this is to have a bigger income in the future. I invested in a coin, hopefully in the future i will gain much income. This is to earn money for my family.
I made my decision investing in cryptocurrency because of its unstable price and because I can profit from it. I use my investments for my preparationg for my future and also for earning money. It serves as abother source of income for me and it helps me a lot financially.
We have different experience investing into cryptocurrency and we ought to push really hard to earned as our expected profit in crypto. I invest before I oftern got panic and sell right away all of my coins those decisions I had made before was the worse. Experiencing of loses, impulsive buying and selling right away. But, those mistakes had brought me to learned and serves as a lesson to make it right the next trading I will make.
The profits and gains. It is what truly made me work with the crypto currency. I would have never been so much happy as I am today when I met the crypto currency. Initial days were really hard and I could not understand a bit of it in the first place but slowly and gradually I started to talk about the crypto like pro. Found so many ways to earn the crypto currencies from this forum and it was never had been so much easy to have your passive income.

I invested in the crypto currency for making money, but now I'm guessing that this is all much more than just an investment.
I invested crypto currency for hoping a chance that sooner I could get some great profits for my investment. Holding coins that I have invested makes me realize that it's not easy to earn money you need to take risk before you have great profits.
I started to invest my money into this crypto market to make short term profits by selling coins and cashing out my profits but later on when i developed knowledge and interest about this feild i no longer took it as profit source only but my future investment plans and started to hodl for long term.This crypto market is future of making payments in future.
