I have an increased uneasiness regarding the massive money printing (devaluation) of world currencies. Never before in history has there been a currency war on this scale. I believe that any responsible person who cares about safeguarding their investments should be looking for opportunities. Bitcoin represents one of those possibilities as we as a host of others that I originally was not concerned about but which have proven more interesting as I have learned more. I've decided to participate in this experiment by mining bitcoin myself and I have invested in a couple of the ASICs. +1, that are certainly some valid points which should lead to an increased interest in Bitcoin.
In addition to that, in my opinion it's no one's fucking business where or for what I spent my money, therefore Bicoin comes in handy.

Bitcoins, and others but especially bitcoin, are a good way to hedge against the future uncertainties and i see them as a long term investment rather than a yet another speculation tool.
