Well, its true that some of the coins mentioned seems not to be metaverse coins but they are there because of their use case.
Im also getting a bit surprised you have mentioned protocol coins instead of putting all of metaverse tokens in your list. Even if they have their usecase and you can try to divide it into the different list but i know tha this doesn't matter a lot. This will make people will be easy to find which was the metaverse tokens in your list but to be honest i personally would not call axie infinity as metaverse tokens it's caused by it was not developing the virtual world like another project i.e sand and mana. Axie was working only in the play to earn game based on NFT. that's not focusing to develop the virtual world.

And for many people I know having these avatars,,, it is not useless for them. It literally is like having Twitter or Facebook, but with an avatar instead of a wall. This is how it is to me anyway  Wink

To enter the world of the Metaverse early is a very good decision if we realize early on how much potential it holds in the future. But again as effective for us, because so far everything has not been realized perfectly. even in the Virtual version today it must be able to reach using VR and the price is not cheap either. This is only for people who are royal and crazy about the digital world. As for us, this is not too interesting. Except investing in Meta-based crypto only.

Right man,,, a very good decision for you, but it is not my cup of tea or for a lot of people for that matter. I also like living in fantasy worlds but I never want to be like those people who spend more hours of their day investing into their online avatar and then in the real world do nothing but eat ramen and not contribute to society. I even know mothers who just do that all day and can dedicate their life to building content online for their friends,,, and their kids are with their nannies. That kind of world and existence you are welcome to it but it is definitely not for me.

You talking about metaverse and expensive VR etc? That is again another example that not everyone talking about metaverse is knowing what they are talking about.

right, I don't want everyone to be left behind with this metaverse trend. the future of Facebook, where this social media platform not only connects people from social media, but also from the virtual world. Facebook itself is currently experimenting with a virtual reality app called Workplace and a social space called Horizons. Both of these applications use a virtual avatar system. I think everyone should feel this meta world if successful in the future.?
It's something that a lot of people are also waiting for to see how the Metaverse actually works and can benefit everyone, so it's clear as you say that it's something not to be missed as long as development is progressing really well.

My favorite coin in the metaverse industry has long been the AXIE Infinity.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/axie-infinity/

Despite the fact that the market cap is already quite high at this point, I believe that the only sky is the limit in this industry.
I have no doubt that 2022 will be completely dominated by metaverse projects.

For me, the Metaverse has become Mark's imaginary world. In the future, it will always provide a platform for big investors. and we're just hitchhiking by the roadside as useless avatars. Just own a coin based on the Metaverse and you will know how it develops and improves significantly. But there are different types of Coins or Tokens, so doing some initial research is a mess to determine which way our money will be allocated.

But that is the whole point of the metaverse though,,, an imaginary world. And Facebook/Meta is just one version, everybody is free to build their own version. There is already big investors not just Meta, who are all pouring billions into building.

And for many people I know having these avatars,,, it is not useless for them. It literally is like having Twitter or Facebook, but with an avatar instead of a wall. This is how it is to me anyway  Wink

Which metaverse coins are you holding?
I play Axie but I don't hold AXS and SLP. I've staked my SLP/WETH into katana to farm wron tokens. I'm more optimistic to wait and see the value of the wron token of Axie than the two that I've mentioned. Once I'm done with this game, I might shift to another metaverse/nft game which I think is going to be profitable. 1 month from now, the value will be shown to the public and I don't know if that's going to be profitable on my side but I just treat it as an airdrop.

Nice. Pls how do i get in on playing Axie?
I heard one can only get in via referral.
You can play by investing or asking someone for a scholarship program, just visit the site of axie and do some research.

I play this game as well and I’m actually holding some AXS since I bought during the drop and I know this project will rose again. I’ve seen a great opportunity with Metaverse, they are simply good and very advance. This year might be the continuation of Metaverse trend, so buying good project now is always a good idea.

Moreover many cryptos are now affiliated with Metaverse. But what I see is that the Metaverse is becoming an effective financial search ground for those who are already in it early on. I know that it's not too late. it's just that to enter the land of the metaverse, which is already occupied by many big investors, we must also be prepared with large capital.

Many crypto enthusiasts have asked this seemingly simple question: are metaverse coins a good investment? and have gotten a lot of answers, some direct but some are not. A question like this cannot be treated or answered with a mere yes or no. Rather, a well-thought-out reason should be given to back any response to this question.
The truth is simple, people follow the money, so there is no need to find some complex explanation, many people do not care at all in the kind of project they are investing or its legitimacy, what they care about more than anything is the profits, and if a specific kind of coin is going up in value then they are going to invest in other coins like it and try to catch the bull run of that coin from the beginning, but once that hype goes down we are going to see most of those coins going down in value in a massive way and in in some instances they will completely disappear as well.

I don't understand how these coins you mentioned are metaverse coins. Am I missing something? These coins existed long before the metaverse announcement. Or metaverse coins is the new name for crypto? If that so I guess Bitcoin and Eth are also legit metaverse coins and I think I'll go with Eth because of its programmability.

LOLs you are funny.
Well, its true that some of the coins mentioned seems not to be metaverse coins but they are there because of their use case. Like you said etherium can be termed a metaverse coin for real because of its programmability.

Which metaverse coins are you holding?
Im holding so many metaverse tokens right now started with illuvium, bloktopia, raca, vulcan, RMRK, and many more low cap metaverse tokens. I have been using metaverse to be the majority of my investment. That being said that metaverse tokens were may preparation for the next pump that may happen soon. The marketcap of metaver tokens are still undevalued at this moment. That's proven by they have been developing very good platforms but their marketcaps are still under 1 billion valuation.

Why Are Metaverse Coins A Good Investment?

Quote
1- "it is good investment because it pumped hard year ago" - it makes it a terrible investment. If something pumped 500x, do you expect it to go another 500x?

2- "it is good investment because metaverse will be a big thing in future (facebook as prove)" - in fact facebook changed name and started working on metaverse and this created hype around meta tokens which is slowly disappearing. Jumping now, after 500x pump, when the dust begins to settle and everyone, who earned on meta now tries to find another good investment ... is not the best idea. Just look at this numbers:

6 billion $ for startup that no one is using, that promise to achieve something in future while .... on the other hand facebook has 2.89 billion monthly active users and is working on the same thing. Guess who will succed..

I understand your view but we need to see this as more than just a hype. we need to see it as what it is - a new economic sector.
tools are being built around it everyday. Yes its new but that dsnt remove the fact that it is very viable and that's why the big companies are jumping in.
If you watched the movie "ready player one" You will get the concept.
Concerning the percentage done last year, its true it may not be fully repeated this year but the viability of the metaverse cannot be overlooked.

I heard one can only get in via referral.

you can buy a team of 3 characters afaik, there are several discussions you can read here in the forum, maybe local threads. but the one you understood is what they call scholarship.

among the projects listed, it's the Matic that I only hold. no other since they are already high in prices. there are cheaper like GALA but Polygon is what i chose because this is a layer 1 project.

If you are looking to invest in some coins, the metaverse-related ones are a good bet owing to their performance in 2021 and the bright future that lies ahead for them.
Metaverse can be considered as undervalued tokens to be bought. The marketcap of majority metaverse projects are quiote cheap. The problem is metaverse is not yet alive and that makes the price of metaverse token is very volatile at this moment.

Why Are Metaverse Coins A Good Investment?
There are a variety of reasons why investors agree that metaverse coins are a good investment and are focusing their attention on the metaverse as a viable option right now. One of them is because of the performance of metaverse-related coins in the past year. The performance alone makes them stand out from the crowd with a lot of them giving thousands of returns to patient investors as you can see from their performance above.

A second reason why people choose to invest in metaverse-related tokens is that that is exactly what the big companies are doing so people are simply following in their footsteps. If the metaverse is not such a big deal and won’t lead to anything, Facebook won’t change its name to Meta. After the Facebook name change, a lot of decentralized virtual worlds have launched and they are gaining lots of traction.
