I don't really hide my bets in public. In fact, my co-workers know that when lunch time is already in, I would make my way to get my laptop and place bets on sports or any esports that I know of. They even ask me for recommendations on who to bet, but that is something that I don't usually grant given that money is on the line and a lot of times, my predictions are ass. They can ask who are playing or what my thoughts on my bet are, but I don't give out straight predictions because I don't want to be blamed if it got lost.

Same here mate, I would be real glad to give some tip-off because that is what they want in the first place but I try to consider some things because my tip wasn't a guarantee for them to win because I cannot even guarantee myself with every bet I had. I just try to give some advice just like you but that doesn't mean a given name and team for example.
Am also of this opinion of not trusting my betting techniques since gambling is basically rely on luck, so if my bet is made public that does not mean others should copy my betting formula since it is not a guarantee for winning, individual differences and luck have a lot to do in the outcome of each bet.
This is what i do have in mind and on the first place i havent put up into my mind about hiding your bets into the public.Im not really that too confident that i could really beat up the house or beat up gambling or do make

out some strategy that you do believe that its working. If it does exist then thats the time you would really be considering out on not to make it public for it not to be saturated or being patched but we know thats not how reality works because there's no such thing about holy grail or what thats why i dont really bother most of the time.

Also, im just a small time gambler so making bets according into some betting habits will always be the norm and nothing special about it and just use on the amount
which i can afford to lose.

Actually maybe my reason is the same as the people who have responded here because I am also a gambler with a fairly small bet so it doesn't really matter to me but there are indeed some cases that I do a little differently to hide it because there are some that I have to protect and I don't really want people to see what I do and how much balance I have there and I usually hide it.
But this only happens if I use my name which the public doesn't want to know.

I tend to hide my bets because it's one way to avoid unwanted attention in chat, even though I still post my bets on chat from time to time it's better to keep most of my bets to myself.

Also this one. I remember my days in nitrogensports wherein I posted a bet slip which is against the majority of the bets that time. I got ridiculed and laughed at for choosing the 'underdogs' with players that are 'inexperienced and washed out.' I won that bet, it was a tier 2 dota 2 qualifiers to a major that I already forgot which teams, but I remember so vividly how they mocked Mushi for being too old to play dota and whatnot. Afterwards I never posted a bet slip anymore even if it won due to that unpleasant experience. Nothing major but it still is infuriating whenever I remember it.

Most crypto users value their privacy, therefore, hiding usernames and bets details on crypto casinos is supposed to be the default setting not the other way around.
Personally, I have the same username on almost all casinos, so being able to hide it is very important to me just in case someone is tracking me (regardless of whether he has malicious intents or he is just a curious person).

In Search of Incredible
As much as I can I don't want to publicize my bets in public due to some reasons. The most common reason is I don't want people to see if I am having a winning and losing streak since it could catch an attention from many people. Privacy is really important and its good if all casino have this feature because for sure many gamblers don't want people to talk about their activities since somehow this could destroy their focus.
The situation is same here. I also hide my username when I play with bigger bankroll. I wasn't doing it in the beginning stage, but nowadays I keep my username hidden. Because, I had received lot's of mention in the chat, also PM from various people when my big wins appeared in the bet history page. It destruct my attentions from the betting. But I keep my username publicly available too when it is necessary for taking part in the challenges.

How about you guys, what makes you hide your bets and/or what makes you show it to the World?

I don't mind showing people my bets, but I want my username to be private.  that is the only reason why I disabled showing username and hide it under the anonymous player.  I always play slots so there isn't much strategy from it.  I just press bet amount and auto spin, and everyone does that.  Aside from that, I don't have a huge bankroll so there is really no reason to hide my bets.

If you are referring to the total bets that has been wagered, I really do not care that much on making it known by the public. But maybe if I have more to gamble, I might consider hiding it.
On the other hand, if you are talking about bets... that on sports betting, I think it is much better to just not make it post in public as it might affect the amount of your winnings if the odds changed significantly. Maybe just share it once the event is completely done.

I haven't tried hiding my personal bets before since I'm just a small bettor. I guess I will only do that if I will feel ashamed of my continuous losses but so far, I still feel comfortable showing it. Some players like checking the account of huge bettors because of curiosity but I guess that's still safe as long as we're on a trusted site.

Actually I rarely use this feature because I rarely use my real name just pseudonym, maybe only the same name of this forum and even then it depends on the casino usually different too, another reason I want to look normal too but if want activate it maybe like you are concerned with strategy when participating in contests. After all no one will be interested in anchovy gamblers like me.

That's because I don't feel comfortable showing my gambling activities publicly. Besides, I don't want to be the reason someone will become addicted to gambling because they see me playing gambling. It is better for me to play gambling secretly in one place than to gamble in public. In addition, I play online gambling, so it won't make people suspicious if I'm in front of the computer because they will think I'm working.

Usually many sites keep their site bet history open.  Where everyone can see that history. Through this they increase the publicity of their site. It looks like new gamblers are attracted to that site.  For this they made such a plan. But if you are a professional gambler.  So I think it's best to keep your bet history hidden. And all those gambling sites hide their bets history.  That site should be used
Yeah, new people who see the other users bet history will feel attracted since they think the casino is really have many gamblers that played on their casino. But sometimes it can be faked, especially for new casinos. If you see the chat that only have few gamblers but the replay is really crowd, obviously it's faked.
Yes, this usually happens like this. Common new casinos keep bet history open on their site's home page. And there they show plenty of bets. Most of these are fake which they do themselves using bot. So I think it is better not to use such gambling sites. These sites are likely to be deceived.

I personally don't hide it as long as it will not involve any sensitive information that may harm my own account. I haven't hide any bets in public since it's not that much they can get to anyway on  all of my accounts in online gambling. I think those whales probably needed it the most but for as shrimps, it won't matter I suppose.
This mean you did hide something since it will harm your account? Cheesy

To me, I always decide to stay private, as long as I don't have any connection with the public. I am a privacy advocate and I try as much as possible to stay away from the public, so if peradventure any newbies want to copy my betting formula is up to them to understand that my personal experiences are what influence decisions, understand that betting or gambling is influenced by so many factors and following a laydown technique is a wrong betting behavior but following the right statistics will give you an accurate result.

Privacy might be more important than to have fun, and its really a choice of every gambler.
I do prefer to gamble with my username in public, I don't take this seriously and sometimes I also want to interact with other gamblers and I see this more fun. There's an option with this where you can set up your account as a private, we've seen this before and that's fine. Hiding means you want to be protected, regards of your status you can still have this kind of settings.
