Legal Entity with address, Jurisdiction, Founder (True Linkedin Profiles), Team (to have the background to develop the Product, Whitepaper (to be able something that needs the Blockchain technology, otherwise what's the point for the ICO), Hard Cap (to prove they need these funds to develop the Product), backup plan (In case they reach less, to be able to develop something at least)

Its just about doing your due diligence and looking at it through the lens of how institutional investors review traditional startups. Solving a problem? Is it a solution? Niche? Good team? Good advisors? product? sweat equity? own equity? bootstrapping? etc. Doing this will allow you to cut out 95% of the shit. From then on you just need to see what the ICO's (post crowdsale) burn rate will be and if the founders are competent.

why I invest in ICO because I know and believe that the project has a good future and a solid team. so that I immediately invested in the project. but in the end of the day, what makes you want to invest in a project?

Conducting market research of that certain project , I'll be able to learn about that certain company more;I'ts my deciding factor if it will turn positive. Also realistic project with real world implementation, I want fast ROI . I don't want to invest in a project that will take 3-5 years to grow with no assurance of the outcome. That's why I prefer ICO with already functioning app or project. Also, the team behind that certain project really matters , their background and reputation.
ICO's provides with a good earning access. Till date very few ico has gone as a scam, based on which profiting is somehow an assured fact. Till the particular token getting listed to the exchanges, people have a fear and then it's upon the users responsibility to use it at the right time trading with the available pairs and earn the best possible.
The chance that was been offered to me last 2011 when I read an article about Bitcoin. I was interested but due to lack of paypal amount or dollar account that's the reason why I didn't get some Bitcoin that moment. Now, although Bitcoin is very expensive the only chance we have is to invest in ICOs. These Altcoins has the potential to be the next Bitcoin in the near future.
The number one thing I look for when investing is if it grabs my attention. Generally when an ICO and their plan really interests me I want to make an investment. An example of this is Propthereum.io. They are an asset backed cryptocurrency on the blockchain. All proceeds raised will be used to purchase A-grade property worldwide. This will generate a rental income and underlying value for the PTC token holder. The great thing about this concept is that the coin will always increase in value.
Most of the reasons, investors use their money invest in ico projects in order to earn money from it, the tokens will soon on the market and turn into coin, its value may rise and bring huge profits depends on how applicantions that project can apply, and br accepted by investors.

Risk will always be there but at last you just have to see that the idea will be feasible or not. Is it solving any major problem of human being or not. If the idea is unique and is solving some problem which has not been solved by any other project then it will be less risky to invest in that ICO.
I will look at their team, whitepaper, advisors and what kind of partnerships they have. A lot of hype can be built around the reputation of those involved and can carry it much higher. More importantly I try to stick to projects which I believe in what they are trying to achieve, it's good to hold some coins long term.

The skills to take huge risk losing money due to invested in the ICOs, it is final to decision to invest in the ICOs or not in my mind, many investors blamed the ICOs are scam due to they can not calculated the risk losing money investment in the ICOs, and I always made investment on many projects ICOs, it's set the minimal risk losing than all in one ICOs but everyone has method for anticipate it when investing in the ICOs. at least that's my way. but in the end of the day, what makes you want to invest in a project?

I will see their project and their earnings during pre ico, if indeed their income soared, then I will participate in the ico to buy their coin. and I also see the price of their coins for exchange to ETH or BTC

So when I look into a new coin I want to see the hype that many of then wants to invest early or cant wait for the bounties to add more for their investment.

I invest in perspective projects for saving and collect coins
For me, ICO is a good long term investment knowing that eth and other altcoin start from being ICO. The tokens starts from about $0.1 and can grew upto $100/coin for about a year or two and now thats promising for me. To know if the tokens will have a value in the future a read their white paper, I also know their market and what this token can do that will make it in demand just like in the case of bitcoin. Ofcourse this type of investment is risky but I see it, it is really rewarding after you gain from it.
Dude, you can make so much money on Ethereum right now. Whales and devs are collecting Ethereum so they can get Rich.
mostly the idea. then comes the team behind it and legal side
nvestment in ico is easy safe and profitable so very good if we are in ico.
I'm always invest in projects which look like game changers. I hate to wasting time in queues at markets, bureaucracy offices and so on. I hope some of such kind of projects will make world more convenient and efficient. Also I like projects with interesting concept like Cindicator or Swarm.Fund.
