I don't think I should open all my bounty notes, the most important thing is that we can still make money from the prize campaign even though we no longer feel like it was in 2017,
this year around 80% of the companies mix with scammers but among them there are still 20% that we can participation in it,
I still like to keep the bounty gift for me a side job and can still produce
You are absolutely right here. The 2017 era was the golden time of crypto and bounties. We can not hope rewards like 2017 but people can still make money through bounties. This year, I would day 60% potential projects paid their bounty hunters, though all rewards were not great, but I think regular bounty hunters earned really good anount through IEO/ICO bounties. STO bounty was failed miserably and STOs are ignorable in the future!

Its still a profitable hobby, but you have to take into account the high risk of not getting paid or getting paid but your reward being worthless. Once you are aware of those cons, take a leap into the scene or move to something else. I would say it is definitely worth trying if you are prepared to waste a half an hour of your time per day.

Sometimes we have to spend more than half an hour and the ultimate results after 3 months are nothing. That's why we should always research before joining any bounty, and even after research, we are facing such situation of no value to the coin or sometimes we are not getting paid.

Until now I still stay in the prize hunt campaign even though the income we get is not like in 2017, but from the many bounties that I have participated in, there are some who pay well, and this is what keeps me going, and the bounty that is paid is quite satisfying miracleTele.

Because a hope.
With joining a hundred bounty here, we can still have a chance where we can get paid.
Also with joining a bounty, i always use my free time to activity. Some experience also we get so time by time we can know where project get probably scam.
Just do it for fun. Really fun if they paid.

An open question to all bounty hunters. What makes you still join the bounty campaigns?

I was the regular bounty hunter in 2017 and early half of the 2018 but once 80% of my joined bounties started to turn scam without paying a penny, I dropped the idea. By looking the current situation, I can conclude that the situation has now worsen and the success rate of bounties is now dropped to further low. So my question is why you still join bounties? Are you getting paid? If yes, then which one gave you best rewards this year? Who is the best manager/s currently in bounty domain?

so, what can my account do except join bounty? i like to following bounty.
im just look for great bounty, and in this year i just join some bounty, not like last year that always joining bounty.
i get paid but its not like what im expected. i think i get 1, but i get 0.6.
the best manager for me always yahoo.

The reason why I still follow or work as a freelance in this forum to become a bounty hunter is because I have enough free time every day to be able to maximize than useless things. I certainly prefer to work on a bounty, although at present the conditions are not so nice, due to the rise of project fraud and also the problems therein are chaotic

Because it makes fun and I still hope that there would a bounty campaign that will bring me huge dividends. As soon as we will enter the bull market, every single bounty campaign would bring good benefits for participants.

even though my two-year bounty campaign project is a lot of scams. but there are some campaign projects that I participated in in 2018 and 2019 that were not scam. I got a pretty decent gift token. that project is a WPP token. so even though many campaign projects are scam I will still try to find a good project. because being a bounty hunter is my side job. than the time I wasted in vain I'd better work on a bounty campaign.

I find it hard to believe that altcoin season won't make a come back with vengeance, i know that not all altcoin will favour from it but new projects will be the most favour, they have the chance of bringing back 1000% gains, old altcoins have did the best they can in the past and it will be hard for them to do 10x

Good projects come into this space once in a while, its not easy to build a very good project but bounty hunters are so desperate about making some money and they start promoting fake ICO PROJECTS, bounty hunters are responsible for helping scam projects, we are the ones that helped create awareness for their scam projects

I stopped participating in bounties at some point in 2018. And it was because of the reasons you talked about. The rewards in today's bounties are nothing to write home about. I don't blame them to, They're no more projects raising millions with ICOs. If those ones holding their IEOs on smaller exchange raise only a max of around $500K. That used to be the entire reward for a bounty campaign in 2017.

I don't think it's worth it unless the current conditions changes.

What makes you still join the bounty campaigns?

I am not in the forum because of the campaigns.
- i like to spend time here.
- i am talking to friends here.
- i'm interested in the topics you can read about.
i let the campaigns run on the side. that is certainly no main reason for my stay here. and since there is almost no effort, nothing speaks against it.

Looking back at 2017 and coming now to 2019,there has been a very huge drop of bounty earnings but we still manage to join some bounties that paid well, some of such are Morpheus lab, Velic, Dexage, harmony and also awaiting Tokoin payment. As bad as it is, there are still some few good projects that will pay bounty hunters well, but the issue is locating them.

the reason that attracted me or joined a project was because I needed money and the money from the gift token would later be used as the main investment capital in the crypto market, so I still believed that there were still good projects and good profits.

Smart move on your part, brother.

I wouldn't join a token paying bounty if you had a gun pointed at my testiclates, and this is precisely because those fuckers want their bounty hunters to do all of the advertising, all of the spamwork up front and then once the release happens they might or might not pay you, and they may just slap a kyc requirement on you in order for you to get your tokens.  And then those tokens you worked so long and hard for, they most likely won't be worth diddly shit anyway.

There is a good reason why bounties have dried up in the past year.  People are getting wise to these scamming ico developers and are starting to realize that there's no money to be made in investing in them.  But the bounty hunters?  They are as desperate as ever, so they're currently lamenting the fact that there isn't enough 'work' to be found on bitcointalk.  Tough titty, I say.

Honestly instead of leaving the account signature space blank, I prefer it to be full. I always try to join better ones but the result is mostly 10x-100x dump. Also I always search for the bounty listed in the exchange, and this would be the better choice considering the recent situation of the market. IMO Arteezy is one of the better ones in this regard, I have been able to earn not less than others in the campaigns I participated in.
Arteezy is a good bounty manager but not to be rely on because few of bounty projects from him are bad, for example files fm bounty, they cheat bounty hunter so much that the reward was meaningless and they put the blame on hardcap not reached but they managed to reach their softcap

No one knows which prohect will actually pay at the end of a bounty campaign. I guess people still engage in it because they are optimistic it will turn out fine for them, even if they have faced dissappointment  with other projects earlier

Honestly, most managers i've seen have been honest and delivered the tokens, even more in the bear trend. That could be because there's not a lot to steal right now, or they have a reputation to keep and don't want to waste it. Most alts that has bounties don't have value from a start right now but that doesn't mean they wouldn't have it when the bullrun starts. That has nothing to do with the managers. Also, project is not necessarily a scam just because it hasn't got an instant dump value.

It's true that for the past year and the current year is not that profitable to bounty hunters but what makes me keep going is that i believe that the market will enter a bull run again, and if it happens the tokens/coins that I've got from bounties will surely have a value in the future, it's just a matter of being patient.
it depends on the project that you have done, indeed you are paid and have a token, but if the project does not develop, don't expect to be patient anymore it is useless.
choose a good project, and for this year it really seems very quiet, maybe next year  Grin
