Everyone will certainly hope that the future will be better, and that hope is always there with the good news of every coin that exists. Crypto development that will make the market better. With various ideas and innovations released by the development team, it will certainly determine the increase and decrease in the coins, the demand must increase in order to increase the value of coins. Now be patient and hold back what can be done.
I don't have any surity for next year, rather for 2021. It's because of 2020's Bitcoin block halving.
I think the worse is yet to come, looking like no signs of improvement at least in first 3 months of 2019.

We cannot do anything if the situation is getting worse,instead of complaining about this situation find another ways to earn and don't look always your portfolio to avoid panic and be positive all the time because it helps you to stay strong in this bearish market.
In our world, everything are just wanting to be better, cryptocurrency is developing hardly so i believe in 2019 and coming years cryptocurrency price will bounce back. Cryptocurrency is on bad time, but other markets have some bad times too, after that it will bounce back.

i let myself be surprised and just do not expect much for next year. it can hardly get any worse after this years prices have already fallen. secretly i still hope that the year 2019 will be better.
We are all hoping and waiting, the same as you. We are expecting that after a perfect down storm of the prices of coins and tokens, there is a rainbow that jumps high back to normal prices of the coins and tokens. If not, we must buckle up more.
The only thing that I am sure of is that the market will rise next year. Its on the slumps this year and it only makes sense that it will recover next year. I always recommend to increase the number of coins in hand rather than selling below the price they bought it. Selling makes us lose more money if we base it on the current market situation. It is very unlikely for the market to fall than rise.
I hope BTC and ETH will hit again it's previous prices. I believe, after end this year, we can see a similar market like 2017.
I hope so. It is enough a year waiting for bull market of Bitcoin and Altcoins come. After 2017, we see the market chart tend stagnant and didn't change significantly. Moreover, for more 3 weeks Bitcoin and Altcoins especially ETH seem losing out the price, these were significantly dropped. We throwback to 2011-2013 we would to see the same as it in the next year 2019.
I think 2019 is going to bring big developments for many major coins. Plus you have Bakkt, Nasdaq futures and the possibility of an ETF. At least we know percentage wise, 2019 can't possibly be as bad as 2018. Good riddance.

Do I need to do something if the situation gets worse?I don't think so, I'll just stay wherever I am right now and focus with my endeavors. While my portfolio is just sitting around, no need to take a look at those, I'm godo with it. Not sure with what awaits on 2019 but I believe thinking positive would result to a positive one.

Read the forecasts that the experts gave last winter, how many of those predictions came true? Therefore, it may become both worse and better, it is better not to have any expectations and then the results will be pleasant anyway.

The first thing that we must remember when entering in the crypto world is that 'never believe in only prediction' and 'never hope too high', Just let you flow in the market and see the chance to get the profits. Why? We may hope that in 2019, the market will be bullrun. but when it is in fact only dropped, we will lose our hope and panic.
